Are you still looking? If so, what is your price range? I may have a Canon Vixia HF M300.

I'm in the midst of putting PSP X9 Ultimate through it's paces ..... it's worked extremely well with the Topaz plugins as well as the NIK group and On1 Photo 10. I'm still trying to master Layers and Masks in PSP. It's second nature to me in PS CC, but this has a new structure I'm still trying to understand.

Be sure to let us know what you think once you have put it through its paces. At this point I still don't see a compelling reason to upgrade from X7. I was hoping for something really big in X9--like, maybe, focus stacking.

Particularly for the night sky and Norther Lights I think the full frame 5DMkII would be a better choice. My suggestion would be to buy the body only and get better glass than the kit lenses right off the bat. I have an APS-C sensor and replaced the kit lens with a Sigma DC 17-70 mm F/2.8-4.0 OS HSM DC and a Tokina AT-XPro DX11~16mm F2.8 Aspherical that I got mainly for night sky photography.

I have used the pre-paid mailers with good results.

For Fuji:

I went to the corel website but could'nt find out if it did focus stacking or HDR functions. Could anybody tell me? Will probably use Zerene stacker for focus stacking though.

PSP X7, which I have, does not do focus stacking. I don't think it's in X8, either. PSP does HDR, both single shot and multiple shot.

FWIW, I've upgraded to each new version since X3 and been happy with the added features. But I don't really see a compelling reason to upgrade to X8. I'll probably skip it and see what's in X9.
