Jimmy T, you are on target. I am near Dallas and Topaz management and I have been trying to arrange a time to meet for 2 months. The reality is they seem to wish to abandon the separate products and focus on all in one. There is a problem here. You cannot round trip. Once a file has been impacted, certain approaches to processing in LRC are gone (lens adjustment, As Shot is altered and more). Also I want results based on how I see the image. Example, you take an image that has a bright sun filled window that will be cropped out, I want to do the image after crop...list goes on and on.

Topaz needs to provide clear path as to what is to happen next. I am going to guess MS next windows operating system will be called "12"...just a guess.

You should call customer service, and in case you did not know, this is how the Payboo card works, if you pay with with the payboo card, you do not have to pay sales tax.
When ever I make a purchase like yours, I call them to make sure they know that I am going to pay over 6 months or a year, if you do that, YOU HAVE TO PAY THE SALES TAX on your purchase but are charged no interest if you pay it off within the specified time frame. So if the sales tax is .05 and you buy 6000.00, you'll have to pay about 300 in sales tax on that purchase.
If they had you pay interest, there is probably a mix up at there end. I WOULD CALL THEM INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING HERE.

When I visit the B&H site and look at the Payboo options, they express the options as either / or - either you get the sales tax refunded or you have 6- or 12-months of "Special Financing". That 'special financing' doesn't reference interest free, but does include several caveats based on how much you spend as well as how multiple shipments may impact how this option operates. You might want to revisit your purchase actions and the paperwork (specific terms) presented along with your purchase.

I recently acquired a Sony a6700 to replace a Nikon D7500 I destroyed. The new camera is significantly smaller and lighter that the old one. If I choose to use a Sony 200-600 mm lens on the a6700, I'm putting 4.5 lbs on a mount that weighs a lot less. Since the big lens has a tripod foot on a collar, that should not be a problem if I use a monopod or tripod. So far so good. However, I would like to get a good macro lens, and those tend to be big and heavy also. So I wonder, if I put, for example, a 105 mm macro lens on that A6700, can I get a tripod foot, or will I have the a6700 body on a support with the lens hanging off the front? I fear that will bend or otherwise affect the lens mount. Or am I worrying unnecessarily?

First, this is a late March post and JimmyT's response is based on 2019 information on some products from Topaz that I do not believe are even available any more. Please note, this is not Jimmy T's fault but Topaz not providing a clear direction and path.

My take is Topaz AI wants to be run first as it addresses all issues (correctly or not) including areas that you want to crop out. I am not a fan of this so far. Also it poses additional problems in LRC. I like to edit and depending on noise and sharpen issues, I elect at the end to elect DeNoise or Sharpen...it is possible to use both. I also like to "round trip" from LRC to PS\Topaz and back and this is not possible in Topaz AI.

The value of Topaz is clear, I have yet to see an image in competition where the shooter did not use Topaz.

Definitely not a trick question. I'm trying to understand why if I'm taking a photo of a single object I intend to tightly crop why it matters if the --OK maybe I stated it wrong. ALL things being equal when the shots were taken, and there were some way to count the number of pixels making up the SUBJECT only. would there be greater pixel density in the subject shot with a 45 mp camera than with a 24 mp camera?

OK I think I got it. More pixels on a sensor of the same physical size. ????????

Some will remember that I recently had a problem with my Microwave oven, after burning another one up.
My neighbor was busy helping his daughter off in another town (moving, I think) and the next night after he got home, he came and looked at it, couldn't find anything wrong with it. Next day, the lights started flickering and the light in my computer room made a LOUD pop and blew out. Kitchen lights went out too. I went out to check the breaker and it was tripped. When I reset it, the breaker popped and everything blew out. The next day, it was already getting dark but he came and checked everything. He didn't find anything in the dark. No electricity for 2 days. He came back to check something outside and said Call Alabama Power. When I called them, he took the phone and told them the service entry cable was broken, hanging by a very thing string and had already been spliced 3 times...I needed a new line run. That fixed some of it but then he found that the breaker to the kitchen was bad and replaced it. Before, the microwave smoked after 30 seconds. I finally tried it again this morning and it didn't smoke.
None of it makes sense to me but it's not supposed to me. I ever really wanted to know anything about electricity. Scares me to death!!!!
