Great pictures & I am blown away by the Frog!
Thank you!
Great shots of a unique spot.
Thanks for the re-visit.
Maybe requiring another visit.
I assume there are still no trails - just pictures of where you are headed?
Again, great shots..
Noticed almost exactly a year ago was posting first pics with Sigma 150-600. So again from same location I believe. Goldwater Lake in Arizona a few miles from my house.
Nice. I'm thinking Wupatki Ruins.

I agree with others, great capture & framing! Also interested in distance & lens. Thanks
Thank you Jack. Is still a bit hit & miss but working to improve. Eventually will have to work with my tripod too, but will have to leave my dog Tico at home for that - his patience has limits...
Thanks Don. I'm working on it..
Finally broke down and bought the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens. So far hand holding and getting a few good pictures. There are 5 small lakes within 15+ minutes of my house that are overflowing from this winter but when the water drops a little will also have the local Riparian trails to check out. Feedback is welcomed...
Very nice & brings back fond memories! Especially like the water ones.
All were good - especially liked last two. Thanks...
jeep_daddy, Thanks for feedback. We have been in Prescott for ~15 years and I love that can drive to so many fabulous hikes and photo opportunities within 4 hours of home (some only few minutes away). Weather suits us as were tired of humidity of Georgia. Community is good and enough activities for us. Arizona is a bit conservative for me but that is a personal thing and town is big enough to find like minded foke. The VA seems to be good but think we have had our share of stuff (don't have any direct info). Good luck on your scouting new homes...
I was all prepped with my tripod and camera remote... but not to be. At the last minute had to hand hold for downtown Prescott, AZ fireworks... Will have to keep working on this and find a better vantage next year where can try the tripod.
I did not check posts from 2/22 and just posted a reply to his re-post on 2/23.... Some info and pics there...
Canyon de Chelly (pronounced de chey (or shay)) is a beautiful spot. You can see MANY of the sites driving along the rim roads. You can hike down the White House Trail by yourself and an interesting ruin there. So, much of your photography can be done on your own. But I have to admit that my fondest memories are taking the tour into the canyons (your or their 4 wheel vehicle but must have a native guide). Some good photo opts there too but fantastic echos. I usually stay at the Holiday Inn only few minutes from rim roads, can arrange guides there, is a nice motel and decent restaurant. Oh Yea, Monument Valley is only 1 1/2 hours north. Enjoy... :-)
