That car was actually purchased that way.

They were made to tour the international auto shows, but people liked them so much they did a limited production run of them. It does make a statement for sure.

The P-51 is a truly amazing piece of machinery. If any of you want to really see them in action, I would highly suggest going to the Reno Air Races in September. You will see a lot of old war birds being pushed to the limit and then some. It's like NASCAR on serious steroids....

Native Americans have always hsd the right to use and posese eagle feathers for their ceremonies, whereas, I could not. Native Americans also have a very high ethic when it comes to conservation (meaning wise use of resources) and they will use the whole animal and manage the populations so as to always have them around. They have been doing on their lands because they are a soverign nation. Yes, when you are on reservation property, you are in another country. I do not see any reason to be angered or resentful toward Native Americans. Let us remember they used the eagle as a symbol in their culture long before we did. None of this prohibits photographing eagles.
Native Americans have always hsd the right to use ... (show quote)

Amen, and well stated.

And I have to say, I don't really see anyone attacking anyone else on here. This seems like a good adult conversation. I know, I don't shove my views or opinions down other people's throats, and I don't like other people to shove theirs down my throat either. But I love a good debate.

Like was also stated above, if you take away religious rights from one, you have to take away from all.

I don't care if they are no longer on the endangered list. The Bald Eagle is the symbol of our nation and our freedom. I don't feel anybody, native or not has the right to harm these beautiful birds. Next thing you know they will be almost extinct again.
Why don't they hunt pigeons? There's more than enough of those to go around.

First of all, lets talk to Native Americans about this nation, and their freedom? Second, Native Americans always use only what they need. Think about the American Buffalo (bison). There were millions of them before Europeans came. Now look at how many are left. I'm not into killing anything myself, but when you talk about this country and freedom, think about how the Native Americans got theirs taken away.

I can not think of a better place in the world to watch the sunset. Ok well there are a few places that might be better, but since I was born and raised in Santa Cruz I am bias. Nice pix....

They have been using DSLRs for shooting TV shows and movies for awhile now. The opening sequence for Saturday Night Live was shot on a Canon 7D. There are a few others that I know of too. Also more and more feature films are using the small and relatively cheap systems for filming. If you want to see a lot of amazing video shot wit SLRs goto http://cinema.planet5d.com/

I fully understand and respect your situation. I am somewhat in the same predicament myself.

Yes, Bay Photo is located in Santa Cruz. I actually live in Aptos which is a small community just south of Santa Cruz. Bay Photo has a shop just down the street from my house. Very handy. They seem to be a great company. I had a print done on canvas, and when I picked it up I saw that it a blemish on the print that was not on the original. They reprinted it for me at no charge, and even let me keep the blemished print. I sold the good one, and have the other hanging in my house.

Bay Photo is awesome. I use them all the time. Even if they weren't located down the street from my house I would use them anyway. My suggestion is to spend as much as you can, and hopefully down the road you can afford even better. I hope you didn't take offense to my comment earlier.

I always laugh a little when people ask for reasonably price but high quality. To me, you get what you pay for. Same goes for the equipment we shoot with. If you want quality pay for quality. If you want inexpensive. I suggest spending as much as you possibly can on your prints if you are going to be showing them off. You wont be disappointed.

I use them all the time. But since they are located down the street from me, it's a given. They are great!

If you are gong out in the elements with your camera gear, you want something that is made to protect it. Although there are lots of do-it-yourself solutions, I would never fully trust them to protect my gear. I use the Aquatech Sport Shields. They are made of high quality material, and pack down nicely to fit in your camera bag. They are made to fit specific lens and body sizes, but that makes them that much better. When it comes to protecting my gear I don't skimp. How would you feel if you ruined your camera gear because you trusted a plastic baggie to protect it?

I wouldn't take advice from a pervert.

WOW! that has got to be the most narrow minded thing I have see written on here, and I have seen a lot. This is a photography forum, and there are a million different forms of photography. To call someone a pervert because they don't take the same kind of pictures as you is appalling to me. I suppose Michelangelo was also a pervert? I suppose you didn't see the photos that dear sweet Miley post on the internet of herself? Take your soap box elsewhere please.
