Need some advice please. I have a Nikon D800 camera with Sea&Sea housing and want to get a wide angle / fish eye lens. Choice of 3 lenses, the Tokina 10 - 17mm, Sigma 15mm or Nikon 16mm lens.
I believe the Tokina 10-17 more for cropped Sensor camera, anybody using it on full frame?
All my lenses at moment are Nikon and I am happy with them, but with the Sigma at closer focus range I am tempted to get the Sigma instead. I am used to fast focusing with the Nikon lenses and am scared I might be disappointed with Sigma's focus ability.
It would be most helpful if any of you can give me some more info on this.

Nudis are one of my favorite critters, I shot over a hundred different types in Anilao. Never saw the three you shot, good work. If you need help with ID, go online. ww.nudipixel.net and post as well. I have several hundred posted from around the world

Thank you so much for the link. Lucky I do not have too many photos yet so good to ID them from the start. So far I've done only 3 dives in Anilao and it was amazing....soon to go back for more.

Thanks for viewing and commenting on my photos. Been living in Philippines for a few years and hope to do so for a few years more, especially since we started diving :D

As with all beginners (I guess), shooting nudibranch is a great way to start. Took these at Coron, used 60 mm macro in first 2 photos and 105 mm macro in third.

are they wrecks deep requiring tech diving or in the 100' range ?

The wrecks are at different depths, so something for every level. More information under "Dive Sites" in the link I posted. I started diving recently and only been to 4 of the wrecks. Other sites I enjoyed was the Barracuda lake and Cathedral Cave (also listed in the link)

I've dived Anilao, Dumaguete, Bohol, and Puerto Galera. Will travel to Cebu in Jan for 10 days liveaboard to the thrasher sharks and another 10 days on land based diving South end of Cebu.

During your visit in Philippines, perhaps consider a trip to Coron, they have quite a number of wrecks from WW2.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I am looking forward to take part in this community. To start with, I have 2 questions and would appreciate some guidance please:
1) In the Forum Rules it is mentioned not to "bump" your topics up? How do you do that (need to know so that I don't break the rules lol).
2) When posting photos like Underwater photography, should you post it under the general photos, under the Underwater Photography section or both?

I've been reading the forums for quite a while, very interesting discussions going on. My husband bought my first DSLR in 2010, started using it in Auto mode but soon got hooked and learned more about photography, a never ending but most enjoyable journey. I started scuba diving recently, so currently I am very interested in underwater photography.
