Who remembers BURMA SHAVE (GREAT reminder of the past)?

I'm sure that Burma Shave actually saved some lives. People laughed and then were more careful! It was a REAL "service" to America, even though it was an advertisement and it was one of the RARE "really useful" ones!

I watched a YouTube unboxing and demo of a Miniot Wheel 2 Turntable, handmade in Norway (I think). The unusual thing about this is the fact that the stylus is under the turntable, so you play the record upside down. It's a beautiful, simple turntable, and I suspected it would be expensive. The reviewer said it cost £450. To me, that's expensive, especially since I already have a couple of turntables.

Well, I was wrong. Maybe that £450 was just for the stylus because the turntable itself costs between $2,000 - $4,000.

I am trying to explore my options for flowers, so I tried Home Depot. It was a very sunny day with some wind. I went inside, and it was slightly better, but sometimes they were crammed together!

I wasn't satisfied with the last flower post, so I thought I would try again! I went to two other places, so all I can do is keep practicing!

OK. Now, I am finally getting to know some flower places. A friend of mine does demo work there and told me the gal who does the flowers does a good job, and she was right. They have beautiful bouquets, for sure. The only problem was that she was there refreshing the stock, so I had to keep shopping until she left! There was a really gorgeous array of colors to select from. So here's what I picked. It has been an interesting adventure and very different from my squirrels!

Hello everyone, this is my secod total eclipse. Seven years ago Itravel to Saint Louis Mo., for that eclipse, this time to Indianapolis Indiana, all from Chicago.
The eclipse was espectacular and whete I was, it ladyed 4:12 seconds. I cannot wait for the next and travel to Europe.
These images are in sequence from the begining to the end. In the middle it is the moment that the sun disappeared, the middle at the highest intensity with radiation flares, and then the moment when the sun stared to reappeared. By the way, only on that shot I was able to capture what I think is a comet. You will not be able to see it in your phone.
