Thanks..I use a tripod where possible.. the monopod is for congested,restricted areas.

I don't think my problem is shutter speed as I am using as fast as allowed for exposure (500 - 1000). It very well may be that my age ( well into 80's). I do thank you for help. SOONER
Had read best to disable VR when on tripod, thought that probably applied to monopod as well. But will certainly try both ways. Thanks
I'm practcing with a new VR 80 - 400 mm lense mounted on a D7100 with a monopod, and results are poor! I am unable to stop "Wobble" . Seems I'm pretty stable with monopod in forward/back plane, but wobbling around from side to side or around. Can any of you who are using a monopod give me some advice? I have the VR in off position and have tried several positions. Thanks for any advice/suggestions you might have.
Did get the right cable on order. NOW to find how/where to connect to the camera.

Thanks for answer The" Vello" wirless is an "RF" unit --different than a inferred and I think connects to a different outlet.
I ordered a Vello wireless remote for my D 7100. Cable that came with the unit won't work. Can someone clarify which contact on D7100 is used for the remote Wireless. Thanks Roy
Possible problem because difference in 64 bit and 32 bit treatment. Not an expert on computer or Elements.
