The hubby and I are going thru boxes from his parents estate that have been stored for 10 years and found this camera. It is an Olympus om10 with a Cosina 35 - 70 mm 1:35 - 5.8 MC Macro lens says made in Japan. It is an older film camera that has film it in with 7 pictures taken. I do not know if it works as I haven't tried putting batteries in it yet.
I am wondering: 1) Is it worth it to put up for sale? 2) What would the price range be if I did?
There is also a flash attachment but not for this camera. It is a Vivitar Auto Thyristor 2800 with a cable attachment I am thinking is the power cord to go direct to a camera or possible a battery charge. It uses 4 aa batteries. Not sure what that is worth either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I watched Lord of the Rings the other day and this made me think of when the giant eagles come and transport the hobbits near the end with the exception that this fish is yelling "Hey, you're going the wrong way!"
I have been seeking tutorials and video aids for exactly this same thing. Chuck
I fully understand your frustration. I don't have any of the post processing software that many on this forum use, but was curious. Good luck to you in your endeavors.
Dee Dee, when someone refers to a photo being a “stack” it is usually a focus stack where a number of separate photos of the same subject are combined in order to get sharp focus for the entire subject.
Thanks Cwilson341. Between yours and Roberts' reply I think I understand the concept better now than I did.
Let me start with this: I am a rank amature at 'real photography', but I do thoroughly enjoy taking pictures.
I see a lot pf posts stating that their picture is a 'stack' of x number of shots. I understand the concept of merging or joining several pictures to get a better one, but don't know if this is a compilation of the same or several different pictures of a single subject. Can someone please answer this for me?
