A work friend who is also interested in photography asked me to check out a system called "Palette for Light Room". I Googled it and it looks like it could be very helpful for someone who uses LR alot. Anyone familiar with this tool?

Don't confuse the Surface Pro 4 with the Surface Book. One is tablet and one is a laptop with a detachable screen that can be used as a tablet. Both are higher end. You can get a Surface Book with a i7 processor which is more that adequate for photography.
