These would be more enjoyable Farley, if you turned off your date stamp. All time, date, and camera data are in your exif files. David
I agree. I could have swore I turned it off. Saw it on the preview and thought it would not transfer when I downloaded it. I was surprised to see the date and time. Will check settings again.
Thanks!

Some excellent photo's there. My wife shudders if I mention Mingus mountain since we drove over it a few years ago. I'd like to make that morning walk that you took.

Yes, it is a scary ride from Prescott to the old mining town, Jerome. Many people won't drive it. There are places with no guard rails and yes, people DO drive off. This spring it was reported that a big gust of wind blew a little gas miser right off the road and down the mountain, killing the driver. Gas mph is not that important.
I walk that particular desert on Sunday's before church. Will save a spot for ya and thanks for the compliment, but the people at Cannon deserve the credit.
I missed a beauty. There was a crow (HUGE) on a light pole facing the sun making it a silhouette and by the time I had the shot, he flew away. The crows are as big as chickens here!!!!
A few pics of my morning jog / walk / jog (lol) with my dogs. No dog pics in this one. The clouds made for a different type sunrise and the flowers were out.
I saw a jackrabbit but he was too quick for me. ugh! Still shooting in mostly auto with Cannon Powershot 280. Yeah, I know...baby steps!!!
Enjoy! 80 degrees and mostly sunny here in Prescott.

Very cool former job! Yes I have heard of Merritt Island. We am over in Clearwater, on the other side. As far as shoes and beer? Well my interests are varied, but the shoes are a dead give a way!
:D
Small world. Have been to Safety Harbor many times and love the flea market there. Also went to some little down town Greek village nearby (forgot name) and had some really good food and entertainment. What is the name of that place?? Tarpon Springs, maybe???
thanks....
yes, have come to understand there is big debate on which is better, Nikon or Cannon. I don't know enough to have an educated opinion, but heard you can't go wrong with either.
