Thanks but I don't do that I just take pictures I don't want to fool around with them, not my thing.
thanks, I am not even enough savvy to know what pp is but I googled and it appears it is downloaded to a phone. Thanks
how they think this picture was made, the main picture from Black Hills National Cemetery is ok but how did some one put these two pictures together into one?
thanks I don't have a tripod, I wish they had made it as good as the former one I had that at least took good pictures of the sky and moon, unfortunately it is almost non functional, I wore it out I think, then the latch that holds the battery in wasn't there anymore so has to be taped in, not fun, and it already lost the port that is used to up load but of course I can use my new camera for that, I might try using it tonite and see if I can get it to work. It has a dozen setting including Night Portrait! Thanks for your response.
I did but it acts like I am moving the camera and maybe I just cant hold it steady enough for that setting with out a tripod, and it is so small you can't tell it is the moon!
I do not know what you mean, I am controlling it manually I was holding very still, what are a you suggesting I was doing if not doing it manually!I have had coolpix that did take pictures of the moon, why can't this one?
I can't seem to take a decent round even picture of the super moon, too much light, on regular setting or Fireworks which are the only two setting available, it doesn't look like a moon anyone have any ideas about this, maybe that is as good as it gets with this camera, I had another coolpix that did take at least Moon looking moon pictures, why doesn't this one!
Some were taken on regular photo setting one on Fireworks.
You can if it is really really hard to see, but aluminum foil on it, press it all around the stone real neat and it becomes invisible itself but makes the letters on the stone stand out in relief.
You might also do a rubbing of the words on the stone, use paper and pencil and last of all you could take soap and water and real tuff brush and clean the moss of it, but stones are interesting with moss on them too!
I did succeed in getting the other camera under warranty accepted under warranty and should have it back in a week to 10 days they said, I am so much more comfortable with this camera that is will take sometime to get that way with the new one ,I didn't have it very long before the port broke to figure out how is used better than this one if so, and I am not even sure it is!m It has fewer settings for taking picture, you mostly use the close up setting, it is inside a case that is waterproof so no lens goes out like all the other nikons I have had, can take pictures underwater even! It has auto boarding that make ever picture looked framed, not sure I like it but I don't' think I can modify it but not sure I understand everything about it either.
This was taken a little later in the day nearly the same time but the sun is no where present in it.
It appears to me that almost all pictures I take in what appears to be normal light, have some of this on the sides, there are some taken in shade or not as brightly lite, that do not have it. I would send other picture but I ca't seem tos ee how you do that now, thanks for your response.
I know, I do have another camera, but it had a problem and broke the upload port, it is at Nikon in CA, I expect daily to hear something it is under warranty, I just told the Nikon people what you just told me to send it to Nikon would cost more than it is worth. Thanks for your reply
It is not under warranty the one that is, had a problem, the port on it broke, suddenly was too big for the cord end that goes into it use to upload, I sent it I have heard it arrived but so far word on when it will return to me, I sent the first picture I sent to this site to the Nikon Help desk so far no reply as to what they think is wrong with it, So I am stuck with this one for now. I took hundreds of pictures a few years ago in Yellowstone with it and had no trouble at all with the pictures. Thanks for your conversation with me about this, it is always nice to find someone who will try to help out in the big world of photography.
I saw the rabbit as I came out the door and didn't see until later what the sun had done!
