Hello, my name is Truman and I am relative new to photography, well in the cense that after years of shooting all the beautiful things I have seen in my 38 years with crappy little disposable cameras then on to the little point and shoots and in the last few years with my phone and never getting what I wanted out of them in quality I have upgraded to a DSLR. I bought a T3 about 9 months ago. I have the Tamron 18-270 f/3.5=6.5 (which I believe tomorrow they are releasing the 16-300mm, and I will probably upgrade).
Anyhow I was at Willow Falls River state Park in Hudson, Wi. this past weekend camping and shooting the falls. I wasn't having much luck as this was my first attempt. Another photographer showed up and looked as he knew what he was doing, so I started talking to him and he through some density filters on my lens, gave me some pointers and let me have at it. In parting he told me about this forum and how helpful everyone is and told me I should sign up. Here I am, I am a sponge, I want to learn as much as I can from anyone willing to give me advise. I look forward to all this forum has to offer.

Anyhow, as an introduction this may have been long and drawn out but I hope it tells a little about myself.
