Your pictures remind me of when I was teaching a weather course and when a thunderstorm approached to the north I would sit in our garage with the north facing door open and the camera on a tripod hoping to get some lightening photos for class. I often had good results with evening photos although my wife did have serious doubt on my sanity.

As a non-professional high school - small college sports photographer I appreciate your hockey pictures and the difficulty of getting a small puck in each picture - it's easier with basketballs I'm sure. Sorry to hear of the loss of your wife as I have lost 3 wives to cancer and wish you well.

It is truly amazing how many hours of a day a dog can sleep, often at the same time looking perfectly happy and contented.
