Thank you both.
I wish to give you a gift and everyone on Hedgehog.
My beloved Grandma Elliott died in 1994 at the age of 104. In 2009, 15 years after her death, I went to Naples, Fl. to spend CHRISTmas with my Mom. In the bedroom closet that had been my Grandmother's I found an envelope
addressed to me from my GRANDMA!
Inside were several items and the attached is one of the items. I began to read it and thought WOW, this is well written! However as I began to read the bottom paragraphs my eyes welled up and I cried like a baby.
My Mom will be 99 June. I was adopted at 4 months. I owe her everything good in my life, my name, my family, a loving home to be brought up in. However, without trying, I caused her much of what this "poem" you are about to read says in the end.
Somehow, I believe this poem was not only written to eventually be a gift for me over a hundred years ago by my Great or Great, Great Grandmother to be given to my Grandma, but for sons and daughters like me and you who owe their heart to Mom...

I sent an apology Regis for not following protocal and posting some of my "layman pics to share". Thank you for your patience with me. Today is my first day on Hedgehog and did not know the protocal.

Last pics, promise!
I was driving in Boquete, Panama when I came around a curve and there was a tree ahead in brilliant light! I had to stop and get out of my car to capture it as I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
I know nothing about photo shop software but using the basic editing on my pc I zoomed in on the pic and with colors came the judgement day pic.
The last pic is the creek behind my home reflecting under my gazebo.
Would like very much to have a higher megapixal and long zoom digital basic camera for "dummies" like me. With my kodak 5.1meg and 12 opical zoom I can get pics of craters and mountains on the moon. Would love to get better definition and clarity with my next camera I'll keep the rest of my life.
This is my first day on Hedgehog. Forgive me if my comments here are not in the place they should be. I was so impressed with your photos that I hope you can share your experiance and advise me on what my next camera might be?

I have a 12 year old digital Kodak 5.1 meagapixal, 12 optical.
Would like to buy a high megapixal, super zoom digital. Not one that a professional like you swaps out lens. Just the box store built it digital camera like the 52 optical, 20meg. Sony and saw Panasonic has a 60 optical, 12 or 16 optical zoom, and I know there are other long zoom, high optical digital cameras.
Would greatly appreciate your suggestion as to what I should buy.
You can probably tell by my description above I know nothing about photograpy. Just lucky to point and shoot.

My sweet wife died 9 years ago. The night before she was buried in Naples, Florida I sat out on the beach till 3 in the morning holding her ashes and crying my heart out.
A few years later I tried to remember some of the things I sang out to her and put them to lyrics. I'm not a muscian so I posted on facebook if anyone could put the lyrics to music I would be grateful. Last year I received this video from a fellow from Danville who years before had lost his wife.

really great pics, I tried to photograph a dragonfly that landed on top of my son's car antenna, but so hard to focus.
