Dougi, You may want to review the Photodex website. Their software allows you to make videos from stills and videos combined. I use their software to produce videos from family events during the year. Gary

Gary, I have the software. I guess what I'm asking is do I have to keep my still cameras aspect ratio at 16:9 and how will they look if enlarged or emailed. Thanks

I take video and stills of the grandkids activities throughout the year and at the end of the year want to make DVD's for them. I have my video camera set at 16:9 because all of our TV's in the family are widescreen. Do I always want to have my still camera's set at 16:9 as well to get the proper aspect to view on a widescreen TV with the combinations of video and stills produced on the DVD's? Then how does this affect sending 16:9 stills via email and for enlargements? I have done a search and still don't quite understand.Thank you.

I was at my grandson track meet shooting some pictures along next to another gentleman. I had my camera on continuous shooting at around 500 5.8 ISO 1600. I don't know if the settings mattered but when he shot his camera it was shooting faster than mine. I think he had a 60D? He left before I had a chance to ask him why. I shoot a T2i and my SDHC card is a class 6 . If I got a class 10 would I be able to shoot more frames per second? Is there a way to make my camera shoot more frames per second. Can I assume shutter speed is a factor?

Thank you for the article. Is it my understanding that your preference would be a flatbed scanner instead of the Wolverine? Sorry, but I'm not a techie and do not understand some of the technical information. Just need the bottom line. Appreciate your time.

As far as reviews it got a 4 1/2 out of 5 for 36 reviews. As far as interpolation does a flatbed scanner do the same thing. I'm trying to figure out what is easiest, what gives the best results for the the best price. Thank you

My apologies. Didn't mean to be rude with no please or thank you. I was brought up better. What does interpolated mean? By the way this scanner is $80.00 at Costco. Thank you.

What do you folks think of this as opposed to something like an Epson V600 or V500? I have slides.

I need a flatbed scanner for scanning slides. I want to buy a used one because once I'm done scanning I won't need it anymore. I'll be scanning for purposes of recording to the computer for future use as in sending online and some enlargements no bigger than 8x10 or 11x16. My guess is I have around 500 or less. By the way what should I be scanning at dpi wise and what format should I save them in? Thanks.

I have a Slik 700DX tripod and the standard head it came with. I bought it to use with my T2i and Panasonic video camera. I find when I use it for video that the tilt is not smooth at all and maybe this tripod wasn't made for video. Maybe just a bad head? Any suggestion to switch to another head so I can use it for both cameras?

AOL will have a pop up after you insert the pictures. Pick the top one it is for sending pictures to look at them on the web. If you want to send them to be printed use an atachment. - Dave

Dave, What version of AOL do you have because the version I have doesn't do what you say. Thanks

Hi Doug. I use a Mac for all my computer work and play. When I do an email, at the bottom it gives me choices on the bottom of the email as to what size of files I want on the pictures. So I guess I am saying, get a mac. :)
Just kidding, you should have a spot in your editing program for sizing the pictures.

I'm with you,get a Mac.!!!

Windows allows the same thing!! Right click on the photo, send to mail recipient and it will ask what size you want to send!! VERY easy.

BTW, I eat my fruit, don't care to play with it!! LOL!!

Hi, I tried your suggestion and I got this prompt. " There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." I have AOL and Gmail and have tried both and still get the same prompt. Can you help me? Thanks you. Doug

I have asked this question so sorry for the repeat but I am still having a problem being able to resize a picture to make it quicker to download and upload via email. In Windows you can right click on a picture you want to send and then go to "Send to" and then "Mail Recipient". When I try to resize and click on "attach" I get a prompt that says "Create an association in the Default Programs control panel. I have AOL and Gmail and I get the same prompt from both. Can some one tell me how to find this control panel?
