I have Adobe Elements 15 on my iMac that is basically sufficient for my needs. However, I find I'm no longer
able to do what I once did very easily. That is. . .I would use the Quick Selection tool and outline only a part of an
image and slide that portion over to another image, by using the Move tool. How would I get rid of the unwanted portion of the second image? Hope we can talk further. Zucco
I edited only in Adobe Elementsnets 15 and not in Moku Hanga at all.
I only worked in Adobe Elements 15 with the edit tool. I added the birthday wish to complete the image, Moku took over and made their final software application. I never sent the picture to Moku software to make any adjustments.
Yes I have the original but without the edit on the birthday picture.
If I want the edit, on any picture, Moku Hanga cuts in to the final picture and gives me a woodcut of that picture.
Thanks for your response in the meantime. If you think of anything else, please write.
if I have to, I'll uninstall that software.
I will go and check how I closed out of that file.
So good to get thoughts from you.
Thank you.
You've given me something to pursue. I will follow up on the leads you suggested and see what follows.
I do edit my files with captions, at times and hate to lose this opportunity.
I appreciate your prompt response!
I have both Elements 15 and Moku Hanga MacOS software on my Monterey Apple desk top.
After editing a birthday picture in Element 15, Moku Hanga automatically applied its "wood cut"
version to it and altered the picture. Does anyone have a "Help" line for Moku Hanga to discuss this problem with?
I called Apple and they couldn't help.
Please contact Stuart King, 732-780-7803, who does this all the time.
In fact, he is giving a lecture at my Photo Club, in New Jersey, later this year.

Pardon me for asking. . . But, why do you need so many cameras??

Starting with Adobe Elements 8, 10 and now 15, I am familiar with most of the Adobe Tools in Elements. It it has served my needs very, very well. And I don't need to buy Elements each and every year, either. But, I am interested in versions of Elements below 21 or 22, too. And paying monthly fees for Adobe's full program does not suit my present needs. I'm interested in using Adobe to add some sky effects and black & color enhancement techniques etc. also. But, which Adobe Elements is best for me and where can I get it? PS - I appreciate all your response so far. Keep 'em coming, if possible.
I will certainly refer the suggestions you have laid out for me.
A review is always worthwhile! My last Elements is 15. Should
I jump to jump to Adobe 22? Adobe has discontinued Elements
unless you buy the latest. What say you?
I have forgotten so many things I use to do in Adobe Elements because of Covid. So I've been going back to some of my older pictures to see what I can do with them. I would like a refresher course to help. Does anyone know about a zoom course that anyone is giving? I guess the best we can do under the circumstances is"zoom". Any suggestions? Zucco
