I have some old IP6700DCanon Printers that are build like tanks and have never failed me in over 10 years.
They print great photos on good paper.
You can still find them on Ebay. The ip6600D was an earlier model with the same specs.
I also have a Canon ip8720 that produces great large photos. It's a new model but it and the IP6700D have the same specs.

I don't know if it's me. Maybe I just don't get it, but I read so often about how someone thinks the newest versions of the iPhone (11, 12 or 13) are the greatest cameras since sliced bread...and they are using them for serious work. I use mine when I'm somewhere without my good gear, or wasn't planning on shooting anything, but now it's there in front of me. But to take an iPhone (on purpose) instead of my D850 or D500 when I'm doing serious work??? What am I missing? I don't think my iPhone 12 is even in the same league with my two Nikons. And it's not even close. I do agree that it's a lot easier carrying an iPhone around in my back pocket, but in my mind, it just doesn't produce exceptional images, especially in low light. Are others happy with just average results? Maybe some people are too lazy to carry around heavier gear? Maybe I'm using my phone incorrectly? Thoughts?

We need to find someone that has the iPhone 13 and a D850 and see what they can do. There are people that teach courses on the internet on taking photos with the iPhone. I've see his work and it's beautiful. I was at the Illinois Railroad Museum two weekends ago and there were a few guys walking around with some very heavy gear, wonder if they got any better photos than I did with my iPhone. I have lots of Nikon professional gear and haven't used it in two years. Using all the software on my Mac I can blow up the iPhone photos and keep the details and 300 dpi. I will use the Nikon gear again for the right occasion but I always have my iPhone with me. My son has a iPhone 12 and it takes great photos, even in total darkness. I use the iPhone for taking all the pictures for Ebay, so much easier then getting out the Nikon.

The next generation cameras will basically be an Android operating system in a mirrorless body. The subject tracking of the D850/D500 for video is admittedly poor, and a proper operating system is needed to supply the required AI.

There are many other metrics where any professional rig beats the cell phone. Aperture size and control being the main feature missing from cell phones. Also sensor size, focal length control and availability, lens character, filters (ND/CPL), battery life, remote flash control, write speed, boot time. Just battery life is a deal breaker for any extended shoot using a cell phone. They are resource hogs and you will spend half your time waiting for it to charge up at the worst possible moment. With replaceable batteries and a power efficient battery, a full frame will always be ready to go.

I attach a external battery to my iPhone with a cord long enough to put the battery in my pocket and leave the iPhone free to take photos all day long.

I'm surprised no one has talked about all the ink the Canon printers go through with their scheduled ink purges that you have no control over. I got rid of my Canon Pro 100 when I realized how much ink those purges use compared to my three Epsons.

I’ve never had a canon printer do a scheduled ink purge. I have a PIXMA IP8720 setting on my desk and I’ve never heard it do a ink purge. Do they do it at 3am so we’re not aware ?

SO, you're admitting you have no idea of Epson's current technology, but you provide us your advice anyway. Other than asking who stockpiles old technology and keeps his printers in his closet and why, I can tell you, from actual experience, that today's Epson printers work rather well and their technology has been upgraded significantly in the past 15 years. I'm not bashing any other brand with which I have no experience. You seem to like your older Canon models. Best of luck.

Amazing that you took my post as advice ! I was only posting my experience ! And I said I don't know about Epson's current technology. I still used my Canon ip6700D because it's a versatile machine that is a photo-printing powerhouse. Its patented print head technology and six ink tanks produce beautiful, long-lasting prints with startling color and detail. (I borrowed that from the Canon Website). Old technology in may be but its Print Resolution is (Up to) Black:9600 x 2400 dpi3Color:9600 x 2400 dpi. Right now on my dest I have a Canon Pixma IP8720 (New Technology) (Print Resolution (Up to)Color:Up to 9600 x 2400 dpi Black:Up to 600 x 600 dpi)
and a IP6700D (Old Technology you say), an Epson V850 Pro Scanner, and a Canon 9000F Mark II Scanner. I already had the Canon scanner but it will only scan 4 slides at a time, the Epson will scan 12 slides at a time. (I have 10's of thousands of slides that I want to scan). Strange the Canon will not scan some B&W photos for some reason, probably operator error. The Canon will.
I've compared scans from both and have a difficult time deciding which scanner is doing a better job. I thing overall the Epson is the better scanner.
If you will notice the print resolution on my very old IP6700D is exactly the same as the New Canon IP8720. Maybe you should read the reviews on that old ip6700D ! And my Canon IP6700D will still be printing when many of the current printers are worn out.

I quit using Epson printers a long time ago, I got tired of constant clogged heads. I’ve used nothing but Canon printers for at least 15 years including their ip6600 and ip6700 that were built like tanks and have never had a clogged head. I have about 7 canon printer including 3 large image printers and not a single one has ever had a clogged head. Most have been in storage for years but I can get them out and they will print without any issues. I picked up 2 or 3 canon ip6700 printers when they discontinued them because they are built like a tank unlike most of the plastic printers today and they produce beautiful prints. Canon has a very different technology than Epson that explains the total lack of clogged heads with Canon. I don’t know if the current Epsom printers still have clogged head issues but if they haven’t changed their technology from the ones I used years ago I would bet they do.
