Yes, the mill is still there - part of Gardner Village on the east side of town. They've added a lot of shops and it draws a decent clientele.

Although I've been interested in photography since I was a boy I am relatively new to the digital world. The old maxim "once the kids are raised you can get your toys back" seems to apply.

I enjoy all types of photography - mostly dabbling in portraiture, landscape, action (rodeo and kids sports) and of course taking pictures at all family and business events.

I have a Canon EOS Rebel T2i with a Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM that I use for most of my shooting. I have several other lenses for specialty shooting. One day I'm hoping to get a better lens to get involved in wildlife photography.

A friend recommended this forum to expand my horizon. I look forward to tapping into the wealth of photographic knowledge contained here.
