I love lazy rivering. Looks like a lot of fun was had.
Neat effect! Great photos.
So sorry for your loss. I don't care what type of pet you lose, it's just like losing a child. I'll cry a little bit tonight because I understand the loss. I'm just a sucker for cute pets.
I worked in a hospital lab where we "computerized" our laboratory test results. A special air conditioned room was built for the computer. (which was 8'X20'X10'tall) The total computer capacity was less than a basic pocket calculator. We were so state of the art! At the end of the day shift, we would print out the reports of the tests ordered and deliver the papers to the proper patient floor. Every night we would back up the days data on 1 1/2" reel to reel tape.
If we wanted to change the program, we used a keyboard one might find on a piano, just not so many keys. Since the programs were written in basic, we only needed a couple of keys, but if we wanted to be entertained, the keyboard could kick out some really pretty piano music. Today's reality is so far ahead of yesterday's. I'm looking forward to the next "big" thing.
Jerry- you forgot the Nikon N series N2020 etc. They jumped to the end of the alphabet pretty quickly after that, but now where do they go when something "new" pops up? I'm going to wait until the next "new" is offered. I won't feel so bad about not buying all new equipment now.
I entered a photo contest when I first started photography. I won 1st place. Figured I would never win again, so I've never entered another one. Started at the top and didn't fall to the bottom. Whew!
We have an unusual couple visit our yard looking for food. An opossum and a raccoon. They waddle in together. Take what is there, sit down to eat it then move on to the next yard. They have done this for years and seem to always get along. I need to make a photo of them, but I don't want to scare them off.
My favorite thing is the never ending informational video. "Just view this short video to learn more from Dr. . ." Junk, Junk, Scam, Junk.
If you need a loan on your property, you will generally do better with your local bank or credit union. These guys will hit you for fees and increases in charges regularly. Mark it as junk and never see it again.
Looks scrumpdillyicious!! Nicely done.
. . .and the barn isn't in danger of falling down! Good shot.
I don't normally shoot birds and/or animals, but I like D because it looks like the start of the story.
The best experiences I've had purchasing photographic equipment and extras has been through B & H..Happy retirement. Best of health!!
Glad I don't have to haul that around on a four mile hike. Whew!
