Heres a link to a test for the D lense:

http://kenrockwell.com/nikon/35af.htm

By the way its a F/2 lense, not 1.8....I believe they were designed for full format Nikon cameras....

I bought the 35mm f 1/8 G version...took it back ...it was slow to focus.....all my lenses are D's...much faster....with a D7000..IMO
Test one out if you can...and compare!

Anything is possible....think outside the box here!!!
So the true answer will come from the person that claims/swears it was real...so lets find out for sure!...its beams didnt do this or that...so what...if it was shopped...an amature for sure...if some reason it was real....then light is light and how it was projected from or with has alot to do with its beam....not really "rocket" science, but then maybe it was a "rocket"....lol

I think Staples sells this flash....I have read its a bit glitchy, simple....so if you can put up with it go for it...unless your using to make money...it maybe a bit frustrating....but for the money...I would condsider it for a backup....not sure it can be set up wireless for the Nikon's.....
If you buy it from Staples.....try it for a while, if it doesnt work the way you would like it to, take it back....no questions asked!

Good point...pictures should allow a story to be told...recall memories.....I can see being too excessive in the number of photos...rather than quality....in some cases some picture is better than none,.,,,sounded like an amature approach were more was better than quality.....but some people dont know what to ask about the photographers approach.....so shame on both...the "pro" and the cuatomer!

Well the industry has changed...with all the "uncle joe's" that went and bought themselves cameras thinking they are a pro....Well the Wedding band industry went through it back in the early 90's, with the portable so called DJ's and there crummy sound systems...eventually they got bad reviews and pretty much had to seel there gear for something else (a camera )...wedding bands are making a comeback and so will the Pro-wedding photographer as well...get enough bad press....the customer will run you out of town as well!
I was one of those wedding band guys so I know!

Has anyone experience any decent remote software for Nikon (I shoot with a D7000) tethered/wired to a laptop. I just uploaded Nikons Pro 2 Trial...and seems to be working fine, but not sure about the price! Yikes..... Free is good but if it works without any glitches Im fine in spending a few bucks.
Thanks!

Wonder if your looking for something that maybe there, or maybe not there...its called change!!! If shooting is for personal use thats one thing...if a customer is viewing it and buying it thats another story....
I have never had one customer complain about "digital"...its all on how you post process in my opinion!!!

I would have two lenses...one wide and then one semi telephoto....not all landscape pics require a wide angle.
I would use Nikon 20mm and a 50mm or 85mm.
