Is there a way to add multiple photos to the photo gallery at the same time instead of one by one? Thanks.

For what it's worth I liked them all, the first two best. I think the fog works subtly and effectively with the sunrise colors-very "moody" and peaceful. Good work.

Thanks for that link! It was really revealing and useful. Now I know why I switched to my mirrorless!

I bought an A7IIR and returned it. I now have a Fujifilm XT-2. Here is what I experienced. The images on the Sony were terrific, low light great. However the size of the files ate memory esp. on my computer. Anything I wanted to do was slow and I have a pretty fast iMac desk top. I believe that it is really geared for a professional. The XT-2 has wonderful low light capability and I have done blow ups with no loss of quality at 24mpx. It is also less expensive than the Sony.

Sorry Jim, didn't understand the reply. Is that requesting a gallery of images?

It is actually a very beautiful place in terms of nature-mountanous, water-falls, lakes, beaches, a few historic cities that weren't leveled in the Korean War and of course the different architectural styles since reconstruction in the mid fifties, from Soviet concrete blocs to soaring skyscrapers and typical Soviet style monuments and public buildings. I'm tempted to say worth a visit but it's banned now.

I dropped of the radar here for a while but decided to come back and post some of my works.Decided to start with something non-controversial, North Korea (:=)). Was there a few years back and am getting some material ready for a talk, so I will be posting some from time to time. This is Paekdusan, an extinct volcano/caldera on the north on the Chinese border. It is sacred to all Koreans, north and south.

I'm sure others will answer your technical questions but some advice: if you have an interest in some of the fantastic museums, go on line and get tickets ahead of time to avoid waiting to buy them. It can be quite crowded. There may also be a "pass" ticket which will save you money and let you in ahead of the lines.

Years ago I did some infrared photography with both a filter and a converted Nikon D90 to do only infrared. One year ago I switched my gear to Fujifilm xt-2. Has anyone done infrared using a red filter and a mirrorless camera. I'm not sure if mirrorless makes a difference. Could you handhold the camera using the filter which cuts back significantly on light? Autofocus works? I'm a bit hesitant to convert an expensive Fuji camera for the occasional infrared shot. Thanks, Peter

Since 1991 I have been leading groups to Cuba (all legal). It is a photographer's paradise. Although not specifically a photographic trip, I have a group going from November 28-December 7. We will be staying in top 5* hotels (3 nts at the Iberostar in Trinidad and 6 nts at the Parque Central in Old Havana) with a full program of activities such as walking/architectural tours, tour of the squares of historic old Havana, meeting with health care and educational professionals, cultural events and concerts, a visit to the Factoria de ARTE Cubana, a night venue where young and chic Havana comes for concerts and art spaces, meetings with artists and gallery walks,a day trip to a planned rural village modeled on the Israeli Kibbutz system and much more.

Trinidad is a UNESCO world herd heritage site, a beautifully preserved Spanish colonial city. Santa Clara is the site of the Che Guevara memorial and a cool provincial city. Havana is the vibrant capital of the country which is slowly being restored.

This has been a hobby for me and a way of going back to Cuba to photograph. I have invite you to join this group and take advantage of visiting this unique country. My groups are the least expensive compared to other mainstream groups.

The cost will be determined by the final number of people-it is about half full-and will be between $3500-4000per person. This includes: hotels, land arrangements, Cuban visa, all meals which usually include 1-2 beverages, transportation by a/c bus with bathroom, bilingual guide (who I have hand picked for the past 5 trips), most admissions, tips for the driver and guide. Not included: air between US and Cuba, tips at meals, tips for local museum guides, personal expenditures. We will be flying into Santa Clara and back from Havana. There are good same day connections on JetBlue from major US cities.

If you are interested I need an application filled out. No deposit is needed until I have final costs and you can withdraw at any point before then with no risk.

E mail me for an application and more information.

I would like to introduce myself (Peter Dunner, M.D.). I am a retired physician and have been leading groups to Cuba since 1991, all of which have met with great acclaim. This is a hobby, not a business and I consider it a group for people who don't like groups. I deal with Havanatur, the Cuban travel agency and Marazul Charters in NJ which is a licensed agency for dealing with Cuba. The Cuban guide used is fully bilingual and I have worked with her for 5 years.

This trip is not a specific photography trip but there are endless opportunities for shooting as I do each time I'm there. Due to the new regulations, individual travel is no longer permitted. This trip meets all the requirements for legal travel to Cuba. I am including the updated prospectus on the trip. The costs cited could be less depending on the number of participants.

This is a no risk situation in that you need not send any deposit and you can withdraw at any time up until a deposit is required down the road. I do need an application and scanned pages of your passport with the picture and info for the Cuban visa. The prospectus will tell you what is included. I have also included an application form. Please feel free to share this information with friends and family.

If you would like to discuss this further, please contact me at psdunner@gmail.com.
