Lol no pics from this past weekend from me. I made a newbie mistake and forgot to put the battery in the camera before we left. I have been planning to buy a spare but haven't gotten around to it. It is much higher on my list of priorities now. I did get to Costco yesterday and ordered a cavas print of the first photo on this thread though. The wife wanted one to hang on the wall.

Thanks but honestly it was an accident. My daughter picked the flower up off the ground and asked me to take a pic of it for her. I was trying to get it at the right angle and snapped the pic without intending to have my hand in there. When I downloaded it on the computer and saw it I couldn't bring myself to crop my hand out of the pic. I also have to admit the camera and lens did all the work on this one as it was taken in auto mode.

Hi all
I have recently developed an interest in photography and purchased a nikon d3200. I still have a lot to learn but have been having lots of fun out with my wife and kids taking photos and having our own photo contests after each outing with my wife being the judge lol. I also traded a fish tank i had for a nikon d80 with a few lenses so we are reasonably well equipped now.
Here is our latest family contest winner taken last weekend at Sunken gardens. Looking forward to hearing from you guys and learning more.
