I would go with the full drive backup. Then you'd also have your documents and programs saved, too.

The need for several programs to scan for malware is just the nature of the environment today. I have Malwarebytes and McAfee Antivirus, but still use the Microsoft Malware Removal Tool monthly. The latter is updated on a monthly basis. It does take a long time to scan, but so does a complete scan by either Malwarebytes and McAfee Antivirus.
I actually like the blurred wings in the first shot. It gives some movement to an otherwise static picture.
