Beautiful! I went with Globus in 1990 but would be interested in who you recommend too. Pm is fine. Thank you!

Linda,

Connie did a wonderful job of using our thought and her knowledge to put together a 25 page itinerary with bookings completed. So easy to work with and prompt. Janggen / Magic Switzerland <connie@magicswitzerland.com>

Switzerland is on our short term bucket list. Would love to have your recommendation. Did you have time enough to do photography in good light? You could pm me.

Willy,

Get Switzerland out of your bucket list, go. I worked with Connie, a real joy who knows her business. Janggen / Magic Switzerland <connie@magicswitzerland.com> I highly recommend. Switzerland has a great rail system, Swiss Rail Pass, good for up to 15 days. Photos were taken from trains and walking around. Will be happy to answer any specific questions you have.

Willy,

Attempted to send you info, but think it went through.

I had wonderful service from Connie, Janggen / Magic Switzerland <connie@magicswitzerland.com>

We use the Swiss Rail Pass, wonderful. So much to tell you if you do decide to visit. Nothing like experiences to make suggestions.

Rich,

One of our most beautiful states. Do the jeep rides into the surrounding mining areas/mountains. Now that will really scare your wife! Then she will go to Switzerland.

Willy,

If you love traveling and enjoy photography, don't think you will be disappointed in Switzerland.

We bought a 15 day Swiss Rail Pass, excellent rail service. You can be moving from a slow train, but with the right photography technique, good photo still possible.

We had visited Switzerland many years ago on a bus tour. Wanted to return having some knowledge of the country. Locate a travel company and selected an agent, Connie. She was wonderful to work with. She combined our suggestions with her knowledge and booked the hotels, then made a 25 page itinerary. Results were a most enjoyable experience for us. Her email is Janggen / Magic Switzerland <connie@magicswitzerland.com> Tell Connie Ralph Johnson suggest her services if you do contact. Consider her a friend now.

I would be most happy to answer any questions you have and make recommendations based on our experiences.

The best to your travel and photography,

Ralph and Gracie Johnson

WV,

I assume you have West Virginia dear to your heart. I was born in Berkeley Spring and graduated from Shepherd College.

Yes, my wife Gracie and I do like to travel and both enjoy photography as well. We traveled to Norway the last two summers, then Switzerland this summer, plus will in Alaska this September. Seems like travel and photography go well together.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding Switzerland or Norway as we found they almost equal in photo opportunities. After the trip, we would make some small adjustment which we can pass on to you. We purchased a 15 day Swiss Rail Pass which worked amazingly well.

I used two different travel agents for the two different countries. I found them both excellent, Connie in Switzerland was extremely helpful and accommodating. Her email is below. If you decide to use her, tell her I recommended.

Final thought, we like so well may consider returning Switzerland to do all that we missed.

Attached is additional photos of Lake Geneva with France across the lake.

Returned from a trip to Switzerland. Highly recommend as well as using the Swiss Rail Pass. Switzerland is a tourist friendly country.

First two photos are icons of Switzerland, the Matterhorn and the Ibex. The third photo is a tunnel inside of a glacier. Fourth is a 13 century bridge in Lucerne, the Chapel Bridge. The fifth photo is a 18 mile glacier at the top of Europe. The sixth is Luthenbrennen Valley. The seventh is a falls in that valley.

If anybody is interested in a well put together trip, I can recommend an excellent travel company and agent.

Mike,

Those are great photos, as are all of your photography. Now which weeks in the fall?

Will appreciate any recommendations as to the likely best two weeks to visit Alaska in the fall, around the Anchorage area. Consider weather and fall foliage.

Mike,

Always great photography!

I have travel and photographed in Alaska, but always the spring months. Would you be willing to recommend the better fall weeks for scenery? I know each year is different, but you have taken so make fall photos there.

blackest, Bebu, Dan,

Thanks for your suggestions. It appears that the link suggested by blackest clearly indicated that High Sierra will open the RAW files from the Nikon D850. At this point, will order the camera. Thanks guys!
