Truely awesome photo's. I had seen pictures of Puffins and thought they could not be real. Then I saw them in real life. Great birds! Fun to watch.

Wow very good image. Looks much better downloaded and expanded.
Interesting place. I have never heard of it before. I have been to Sweden but not Norway.
I am of Swedish decent (half swede half German) and we went back to see relatives and where my father was born.
This location is way north in Norway. I am sure it is beautiful. I wonder just how rural it is. Also I wonder about the weather (How cold for how much of the year).
If for some reason I could not live in America, Sweden would have been first choice. Having visited New Zealand it would be high on the list for first choice.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow those pictures are special. I live in the Northeast of the US (NH).
Although I have visited this area of the country It's great to see it under different conditions.
Thanks for the insight into a glimpse of time and place.

This is a wonderful country we live in. We spent 9 years living in an RV on average 5 months a year traveling and living in America. It was a hoot.

Wow this is a great set of pictures. You caught the action so well and froze the moment.
I wish I could take a set this good.

Great job.

The pictures you import into Photos is stored in it's database called photos library. If you want to work with them using the finder then export them to the finder. I doubt that will be very successful for you unless you rename them from something like IMG-1613.JPG to "Bunny in Yard" or whatever you want to work with. The reason I use Photos is for its ability to organize, search, cross-reference, etc. Working with dumb JPEG files (without metadata) Is not very useful to me at all.

Wow nice picture. I love the skin tone, and the lovely smile.
A beautiful woman for sure. She would look great if fully clothed in this picture.
Thanks for sharing

Good photos. It's easy to get overwhelmed with the scenery and not take the easy shots.
Generally there are no bad photos of the GC.
Good job.
Thanks for posting.

What Mac are you referring to? I am not using a Nikon any more but when I want to load pictures to my Mac I either connect the camera directly (have not done this in years) or take the memory card from the camera and connect it to my Mac. In my case I use a dock that has as one of it's ports an SD card reader.
There are many interface options that you can use to connect the SD card to a Mac. I also have an SD card adapter that has a usb output that I connect a USB to a USB-C connector.
Lots of possibilities depending on what your environment is.

For us it was a long time ago I know I have pictures but I could not seem to find them quickly. They likely were not digital. It was the whole process of the parents coming back in from the ocean, trying to decide when it was safe and the reuniting with the chicks that was special. Off course their cute as can be.

Wow! Those are spectacular. It is amazing what these birds can do. I would be thrilled if I could get half of these shots! Job well done. Thanks for sharing.

The picture outside the Melbourne Library is special! The rest are excellent. We enjoyed Australia and New Zealand when we visited. The whole east coast and the Great Barrier Reef were highlights of our visit. We are talking serious scenic wonder! Don't forget the Fairy Penquins near Melbourne.

The question was about photo editing software. I agree that I prefer buying software that does not need a subscription to use. I also however would like my photo editing software to also be linked with a library functionality. So are any of these recommendations included in software that has a library capability???

I use Macintosh software and hardware. I currently use Photos on the Mac and it is my library photo software and my limited editing software. What I find I do is very little editing but more culling of bad photos and limited touch up. Very few photos get serious editing.
