A different application, I know, but I've been thinking about getting one of the LED lights myself, but for close up photography (plants, flowers, etc). I have a Manfrotto MT190XPro3 tripod with horizontal centre column that you can attach a flexible arm to with either a flash or LED light on it. Has anyone used these LED lights for close-up/macro photography? If you have, what have the results been like? Any input would be appreciated as I'm quite new to close-up photography. Thanks.
I use a Sekonic Twin Mate (L258, I think)- Very small & really accurate. Uses a CR232 battery. I also use an old Weston V & a Russian made Leningrad 4, both of which still work perfectly.
Totally agree. I have the Sigma 10-20mm & find it a fantastic lens. Still, you pays your money & you takes your choice, as they say.
