Try your public library. They might have a scanner you can use.

Go to your public library. They may have a Lynda subscription you could use.

I saw the fourth quarter and I wonder what the Michigan coach was thinking when he called that last play?

I know you said you weren't in doing the labor, but why not try the local Library. If they have a slide scanner it would only cost you a little time and the cost of a memory stick. Otherwise WAL*MART.

Come on folks, you are missing the point here. During the 3 and 1/2 years of WW-2, the U. S. Government could not build a functioning web site either.

First I would like to thank everyone who took the time to respond. Someone asked what I wanted to do. I took these pictures 50 years ago and someday I want to pass them on to whoever might be interested in them. I have notes written on the cardboard of the slide and want to add them to the picture along with year taken, who is in the picture, etc. I am sure 50 years from now no one will remember anything about my scans just as nobody remembers who is in 100 year old pictures, unless the names are written on the back of the picture. Once again thank you and a question: Are their any instructional videos available?

I am strictly an amateur photographer with a lot of 35-MM color slides and no slide projector. I have managed to scan all the slides into my computer. I would also like to pass them on some day.
Does anyone know of a post processing process that will allow me to add a couple of lines below the picture in order to display names, dates, and/or other information? I would like them to display below the picture and not be part of the picture itself.
The pictures are in jpeg format and currently open in windows picture viewer.
