It seems to me that the article lists many valid arguments for not purchasing a full frame camera. It loses some credibility when you are asked to consider using that money for education and a sales pitch for spending that money on their photo tours listed at the end.

After you find or buy a new body cap keep this in mind. When I mount a lens to the body I take the lens cap from the mount end of the lens and interlock it to the body cap and keep them in my bag that way if I have to separate the lens from the camera I can cover both the body and the lens mount. It's also easier to keep track of these caps.

Since I have been calibrating my monitor I have cut way down the amount of paper and ink wasted. Printing becomes much closer to what you see is what you get. I also always use the print preview option that my printer offers

I grew up in Westchester County I always enjoyed crossing all those bridges. I liked the Tappan Zee because it was so long. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

I think this is what you want. Custom settings menu. Go to C4 monitor off delay, and set playback time or image review time.

You don't want to put too much weight/tension on your tripod, you might break it. Even with it tied down it may still shake a bit. You might want to spread the legs wider (if your tripod offers that option) and/or keep it lower to the ground if possible.

It's your birthday, if no one is going to buy it for you, then buy it for yourself. The longer you put it off the less you get to use it, we have a finite time in this life enjoy it.

Thanks for posting this. I pretty much have given up on TV so seeing something of quality is refreshing.

That said, I do find certain images more attractive in B&W, such as pictures of lined faces of rugged individuals. But those exceptions are much less often than I see people thinking that B&W somehow makes them more artsy.

I think the request to see the original may be tied to what MtnMan said, some people like to see what you started with, so in their minds they can judge if the enhancements worked or to see/decide if they agree with what was done. Sometimes its fun to see before and after (this also includes color enhancements)
