A problem that has been occurring more frequently with the X Pro-3. The EVF and the OVF appear to have a bright source of light rendering them useless. The viewfinder curtain stays on. All is normal on the large LCD screen.

I need some quick advice. My X Pro-3 developed the infamous viewfinder bug. I contacted Fujifilm repair in New Jersey and on the intake form they ask you, “Would you accept a refurbished camera of the same model and type in lieu of repairing your camera, an option that would speed up the process.” (I am paraphrasing). My gut reaction was to answer NO. My camera is practically new. I got it at the onset of the COVID seclusion and it has fewer than 300 activations.
My question: Should I accept Fuji’s offer of a refurbished camera instead of having mine repaired (and paying fir the repair)?
Any thoughts, please and thanks !

Once the cells produce a protein spike, the immune system generates antibodies against the protein spike, which does help fight the infection. It reduces (but does not eliminate) the chance of becoming infected, and reduces (but does not eliminate) the risk of severe illness and death. We call this "immunity" even though it is not 100%. In fact, most other vaccines in use today are not 100% effective in eliminating infection.
So are Covid vaccines effective? Based on current data:
- unvaccinated are 8.3 times more likely to become infected with Covid-19
- unvaccinated are 25.2 times more likely to develop severe illness requiring hospitalization with Covid-19
- unvaccinated are 24 times more likely to die from Covid-19.

Thanks much. i truly value your opinion. I will try to lighten it per your suggestion and will send you the final product. I was keeping it dark to emulate the “Voss look,” but it seems like a have a lot to learn. Best wishes, Miguel
