This one caught my eye the other day while out looking for my steam photo. I have the entire barn in the image, but felt that a 1:1 format looked nice.

Nice one! I like the crop.

I’ve been a member of UHH for quite a while but was forced to withdraw from active participation because of on-going medical problems. I’ve continued monitoring the site and enjoy B&W photography so I decided to drag out a few of my oldies and give them another run around the track.

We had a little of much needed rain last week and had a run away in the grassland weed dept.
I almost had to tie a flag on Murphy's tail so I could see him😉😉

Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas, NV is a popular tourist attraction and a great hiking spot. Normally people post pictures of the red cliffs, boulders, cacti, burrows and coyotes. But if someone likes cars, it is a perfect place for "car watching", it's like people watching but for cars.
Last Sunday I took pictures of a bunch of cars and bikes, some with long exposure to motion blur the background and some with fast shutter speed.
I hope you will enjoy the pictures.

Great captures

Peggy’s Cove is gorgeous when it’s not foggy! Which it often is….too foggy to see the famous lighthouse.

Wow, guess I lucked out on that although I guess you could get some great photos of the cove and lighthouse in some fog also.

In the download I see three cropping's that still make your image impressive.

I fully understand what you are saying. I probably shot a hundred or more scenes while there and do have that area cropped several ways.

We’ve been there, too, and I agree, it’s a pretty place. A visit to the lighthouse is a must if you’re there. Thanks for a nice memory.

Yes, I have some great photos of the lighthouse also.
