Looks like we are in the same area! In my classes my photo assignments are predominately Joshua trees, Joshua trees, and dead and fallen Joshua trees. Pretty exciting. I am trying to learn how to photograph the moon. The 19th had a beautiful one. I used my 18-55mm lens and after looking at my shots and reading some of the moon replies I now see the need for a telephoto lens. I am learning. Slowly but surely. It is exciting though!
