Excellent! How’s that for a comment?
If I was post processing it, I would up the highlights just a smidge.

Thank you, appreciate the comment and suggestion.
Thank you. It was just a snap shot and kind of got lucky with it.
Thank you. I had got away from my hobby and just recently decided to get back into it. My granddaughter was just sitting on a couch playing and I just happened to snap this shot. I had it printed in 8x10 by shutter fly in a mat finish. It came out really nice and I'm going to frame it nice for my daughter-in-law. She hasn't seen it yet.
This is my granddaughter playing on her laptop. I chose black and white and softened it up. Would like comments please.
I've searched this discussion and I could not find anything recent on a comparison of Affinity Photo vs. Classic Lightroom. I have used Classic LR in the past and I have a trial version of Affinity and was curious if there are opinions out there concerning pros and cons and which one you would recommend. I am a novice to photography and pp. Thank you.

Has anyone upgraded? Any problems?
I recently switched from PC to Mac M1. Only problem so far was truomg too transfer photos from OneDrive to Photos and to external SSD T7 storage. Spent many hours with Samsung, Microsoft and Apple. I'm getting close. Other than that there is a learning curve if you are switching from PC to MAC. I have the new 24" All in One and absolutely love it so far. It's fast! I got it with 16 memory and 512 SSD hard drive. Trying to work with Photos and it has it's limits, most likely will go back to Lightroom.
Thank you to all for your recommendations and comments. I have been trying photos for a few days now and I find it quick and easy; however limited. I will look at other programs suggested.
I've never heard it put so eloquently. I'll have to remember that.
I was thinking the same thing.
I just purchased the new 24" iMac with M1 chip having made the switch from pc to Apple. I have never used apple's Photo program and was curious if anyone recommends this program for photo editing.
I have a honey do list and I tell my wife she doesn't have to remind me every six months.
Definitely black and white! Jumps at you. Nicely done!
A few days ago I was scanning all of my photos on the latest version (8.3.1) of Lightroom Classic. I noticed there were hundreds of images (not photos) of characters and had no idea where they came from. I deleted all of them. Now, all of my photos on this program (10K+) are blurred. This is the only program where they are blurred. I also have Lightroom and the photos are clear there as well as pulling up a photo from my pictures. I spent over three hours with Adobe trying to fix this. I have uninstalled lightroom Classic and reinstalled it, still the same blurred photos. The tech, who had to leave due to his shift being over, said he thought this was indicative of my hard drive about to crash. Has anyone ever had this problem and does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you.
