If C1 and C2 have not been set using the dock, Keep custom @ off, Turn OS on @ 1 for general hand held shots, For panning shots set @ 2. You will see the OS working on # 1 setting, will not hear it.

Power company was trimming trees near power lines. I was shooting from my garage about 140 ft. away
men who were trimming about 25-35 ft. up. Very shady with bright sun spots. All shots hand held. Camera D810

Shot as Tiff and PP in camera Raw in PS. Men were working moving, not posed did not know they were being photographed.

I shot only Tiff, no jpeg. PP in camera Raw in PS. only save image as jpeg when it is for web. Camera set to 3 for sharping. I meter of gray card as I did when using film.

There was NO sharping of Images or any other PP. as stated in post copy.

No, from box to camera the os really makes a big difference. I don't believe the dock would make any difference. good luck with any lens purchase.
