Out tour bus took us to the base of the project. There are great facilities. Visitor center is spotless.

I was on a RV caravan with about 50 people. Activities were pre arranged. A bus picked us up in the morning and delivered us to dfferent places. I probably could not find it if I needed to. It was not too far from an abandoned Mormon Village if that helps. I expect the best is to ask directions. It is really a beautiful, peaceful spot, and a great photo op. Sorry i cannot do any better on directions.

We were to go on a sunset cruise in the Colorado River. The rain moved in and trip was cancelled. At least I was able to get this interesting photo of rain moving in.

This a view from Bayshore Park, Naples. This was taken with Canon 7D2, EF 24-105 lens with UV filter, ISO 1000, f18, 1.40 sec, using tripod. Some PP on both photos.

I took this several years ago at the Naples Pier, with Canon 7D2 and Tamron 16-300 lens with Tiffen UV filter, with a carbon fiber tripod. I used ISO 640, f10,1/50 sec. I took many with Canon efs 10-22 lens, and this was my favorite. I am your age, and most important thing to bring is a chair, and get there early to get a good parking place. Another good spot for sunset photos in Naples is Bayshore Park, at the end of Tomasson drive. Here you can park close to the water and take photos from your car if you wish.

It is going to take a long time. As I understand, the project is privately funded, no federal money. When finished, the image of Crazy Horse will be larger that the images at Mount Rushmore.

The inside of the church has a large window above the alter with a fantastic view of the Grand Tetons. It is a beautiful view with the mountains and Aspen trees, a quiet place.

Thanks for nice comments. Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary near Naples is a great place to get close ups of the wading birds.

Sydney is not daughter of Bella. But Bella and Sydney are from the same breeder, and probably distantly related. Black and white is a common color combination in Havanese. Other color combinations are acceptable but not as common.,
