To the post.on Photos. I have been using Photoshop for 12 years and I can do well with it. Doesn't hurt to see what programs other than Photoshop does that I already own.

I have Canon Pro 100 and the Epson R3000. Both print better than several print shops including, Sams, Walmart, CVS, Office Depot etc.. As one person mentioned the ink is expensive. They cost are over $100.00 for the set. You will get quality prints for what you pay as long as you consider paper quality and ink.

I don't do weddings however I do a lot of Portrait photos and families photos. While shooting I am comfortable with the functions of my Canon's and light mastering, however While I am shooting a session I will look at a few if the client would like to see what I have shot. I also tether shoot at times. I shoot landscapes often and the setup may look one way and I will check to see if the shot is composed the way I envision it to be without having to move to get the shot. So chimping is not a word I would use although some will. Now that we have digital instead of film we are afforded that option. Just call me a light monkey with full frame camera's.

Remember who you are the "TRUE" Professional with that said you ask for their business card and post an add in the local paper about professionalism in this business and the people who are not as professional as they profess to be. Hit them in their pocket so to speak. It will boost your marketing and perhaps acknowledge the bully photographers.

OK I think Dave had said what I said long ago and as I look this up in my Canon manual It explains it well. Good luck in your shots.

Look it all boils down to what YOU are comfortable with. If you like the camera and are use to shooting with a Canon then stay with it. It's worth the look at the 50D if you want the versatility of lens' also you can get other manufactures that offer lens that fit the Canon. What ever works for you and the quality of your photos will make you comfortable.

I use a MacBook Pro and I also hace two PC's One desk top and a laptop. From the graphics stand point for editing using Photoshop the Mac has much better quality and a more true to life color ratio than the two PC's even whit monitor adjustments. You need RAM most of all. I use external hard drives for storage and large ones for the computers as well as a high graphics card duel processors.

If they are not for sale you can post any shot. If you post them and are paid then you could open yourself up to lawsuits.

JimH hit the nail on the head. He is right on target as what you should look for. Always look for what is comfortable for you and hight and weight are important factors as well as durability. I use a Benro C-268 which works well and doesn't cost you your shirt.
