Excellent of photographs. The yellow rose blooming is my favorite. But the others are extremely nice as well.

These animals are real beauties, just gorgeous. You captured them excellently and displayed their affinity for one another, their 'personality' as it were. These are truly works of art.

kpmac,

Thank God you are alive and doing reasonably well. PTSD occurs less often with natural disasters such as this one than from man made disasters/situations. I speak from experience, I am a forensic neuropsychologist by profession. Please do not fear going to counseling should you or your family members need it, and I hope you NEVER need it.

Take good care of yourself and I wish you and yours well.

Piraterich,

Beautiful shots of a simple pleasure, morning on the ocean. Reminds me of my days at Florida Tech in Melbourne.

I enjoyed the color rendition because the words 'Road House' are more clearly legible than in the B and W version. This I believe is the reason for many automobile commercials to be filmed on wet parking lots or pavement, darkening the pavement somewhat and giving somewhat of a glean to the overall image.

Nice work.

These are nice images of what appears to be a very stately manor. Nice work and Happy New Year.

I sold an infrequently used Mamiya RZ 6 by 7 with two lenses, (110mm and 180mm) two backs and the AE prism and purchased a Nikon Z7ii, FTZii adaptor, (for my Nikon F100 full frame lenses) a 24-120mm F4 lens and SB700 flash on the nationwide sale, saving $700. I am now a happy camper, or rather happy photographer. This new equipment is much lighter and I will likely use it much more often than the RZ had ever been used. That RZ actually was purchased on a whim, completing the span between my Mamiya 645AF and my Arca-Swiss 4 by 5 with five Rodenstock lenses. It took great pictures but there was no tilt/shift as in the large format, and was somewhat unwieldy compared with the 645AF.

So yes, I had a great Christmas. I hope you and all Hedgehoggers had a wonderful Christmas as well.

I have been to 'Lost Wages' many times as I reside in Phoenix. I was at 'Mandalay Bay' three weeks ago to see 'Santana' perform at 'The House of Blues'. In 'Mandalay Bay' go to the 'Foundation Room' which is actually a bar on the 64th Floor. It has an outdoor patio, but that is usually wall to wall people. From that vantage point, you can get a beautiful picture of the strip at night. Forget about a tripod, security probably won't let you on their private elevator with it. Also, forget a big telephoto lens for the same reason. I was there last month and about one year earlier, and that patio is always packed. My photos are on my wife's cell phone and although they are good memories, they are not show worthy so I won't present them here. But you will enjoy the view and beverage.

Also, be sure to dress somewhat classy. They would not let me on the elevator in September 2021 with short pants and sandals. Must have long pants, shoes and somewhat dressy shirt and/or sport coat. For women, the dress code is somewhat more lenient, some of the younger women were not wearing that much at all, revealing a considerable portion of their 'girls'. But after all, "It IS Vegas, baby."

I second the motion regarding the 'Bellagio' seen from the 'Eiffel Tower' and 'Fremont Street'. That is a human zoo. One thing that surprised me is the ubiquitous fragrance of marijuana on 'Fremont Street'. If you stay in certain locations, you may get close to a 'secondhand smoke high'. Although there are many signs telling people to not use it, those signs were largely ignored. The fragrance is unmistakable and as I said, ubiquitous. You almost have to go indoors to get fresh air.

Have a very 'Happy Anniversary' and enjoy your trip.

Very nice pictures of my home town. I miss the hustle and bustle, especially around Christmas. I don't miss the cold and snow however, but overall, I miss the city. Again, these are beautiful shots.

Very nice shots. Where is the lighthouse, on a river, or one of the Great Lakes?
