That is a very nice photo. Don’t feel the need to apologize for having used your iPhone. The new ones are capable of taking some very fine images. They’re just a different style camera. You should post this in the Smartphone Photography section as there is a lot of interest there. Thanks for sharing.
I agree, and let's not forget that cell phone cameras were the original mirrorless.
A) You are probably correct on several levels.
B) The best camera is, and always has been, the one in your hand.
C) There is no shame in capturing a solid photo with a phone...
My family recently upgraded to iPhone 15 Pro Max's and they take damn good images in the right hands. AND, the files are big enough to allow a decent crop with losing much.
Also, my camera bag now weight in at about 8 pounds. Not bad, you say. I thrashed my knees almost 15 years ago pulling very heavy things around. I have no meniscus in either knee so they appreciate it when I pull out the phone.

I'm starting to think I need to visit some BIG cities. I am totally nervous about the prospect, but I see so much good stuff on-line posted by others. I think public transportation would help alleviate some of my fear.
Just like anywhere else, keep your valuables in places that will make it as difficult as possible to steal them.
Last December my wife went to Italy with a friend and her mother. Her phone was boosted and her friends wallet was stolen on the Metro.
Don't be nervous, be situationally aware and you will be fine.

More snow predicted for the Sierra Nevada this weekend! Late spring this year!
I believe we will get some on Saturday. Just in time to slow down those buds...

Sorry. Hope that is followed by unseasonably warm weather.
It is getting there, Just not fast enough for my taste.
I often wonder why I moved to a state where 40-50 degree temperature swings are normal.

Things are looking up.
Four out of the next seven days will have nighttime lows of freezing or below. I am ready for some warm.
Thanks for stopping by.

Because it’s warming up. Recent posts show they had snow on the ground recently there. ;)
We did have snow last week and the lows for the next 7 days will be cool, 4 out of 7 will be below freezing with highs in the high 60's and low 70's which won't do the buds any good, but things don't live here long if they can't be adaptable.
Thanks for popping in Jerry. We'll talk soon.

Thank you kind sir! I was very fortunate to go to the falls after a rain. If we go without rain for a while Noccalula Falls becomes Noccalula Drip.
I appreciate your too kind comment!!!
It's beautiful Jo. Take care.
Hmmmm, someone, who shall remain nameless said that she wasn’t that good at photography. I’m not buying it lady. The shot of the falls is VERY easy on the eyes.
Thanks for the thumbs Frank, I think that I need to give it another sot, as it were. :)

Take your pick (LOL).
Thank you Mike, but I think that you are biased.
Thanks for popping in though.

I envy you, Mike!
Please expand on that. Was it my mad photographic skills,
or the fact that it's FINALLY warming up?
It may not have been exactly what you were looking for, but it's well done regardless.
Now this begs the question, where were you when I was trying to get sunrise shots at Waimea Beach? For those not familiar with the location, it's on the North Shore near Haliewa.
Okay, the Oahu natives are rolling their eyes. It was early, okay?
What surprises me is the speed at which it's in. Day before yesterday the tree in front of the house looked like the branch in the first picture.
It was supposed to be a progression of events but I dropped the ball on number two, it wasn't quite what I want but so it goes sometimes.
Number three is the south side of the tree which is totally exploding with color.
