Currently a topic being discuss in our club here in Las Vegas. AI, not only on phones but in post processing platforms , it's usage, practicality, whether one needs to disclose use of AI when making the photograph, etc. Hadn't heard topic of club split before.

Yes, I've used the Sensor Cleaner from Amazon and it has worked quite well to my surprise. Follow directions and you should be good to go. If the spot can't be removed after several attempts you might need it professionally cleaned. Also, don't forget to try the built in sensor cleaner with Mirror Up on your camera - if you have it.

FaceBook recently sentenced me to Jail for violating their terms and bullying. And just what was my "crime"? Friends had posted a photo of them that I had taken 19 years ago. I commented that it might be time to update that photo and they agreed. Now here is what got me into trouble with FaceBook: My response was "Would love to shoot you anytime." Photographers use the term "Shoot" all the time. But apparently FaceBook's algorithm only picks up on works that they deem are offensive and abusive. I tried to object - since this was taken totally out of context - however only got a notice that there was a shortage of reviewers and that they could not review my objection in a timely manner. So the "offense" stays on my account. One would think that FaceBook would have a algorithm that can review the entire context of the online exchange rather than just focuses on keywords - which have multiple meanings. Also, with all the money that FaceBook and Mark Zuckerberg have, that many just maybe they could afford to hire more reviewers. Also, there is no way to physically speak to a person at FaceBook. Just be warned that your common everyday language as a photographer could get you sentenced to FaceBook Jail for a day or more.

I am a Nikon shooter and considering making the switch to mirrorless camera. In my research, mirrorless cameras while great at tracking birds in flight-apparently in open sky-there is a focus issue when birds are sitting in trees with branches behind or in front of them. Cameras tend to focus on tree rather than bird. So if bird(s) are flying in front of trees, bushes, etc. camera may focus on tree and not bird. Also, the electronic eye function goes to "sleep" so if needing to shoot immediately there may be sight delay "waking camera up" before being able to focus and fire. Not bashing Nikon or other mirrorless cameras - just reporting what I've discovered. Hopefully, these issues will be fixed in forthcoming mirrorless cameras.

Running out of storage space on my iMac desktop computer. Since most of my files are photos I want to transfer my LR files to a brand new WD 4 TB desktop hard drive. But not sure how to set up hard drive and transfer files. Understand that the LR catalog will remain on computer and pictures go to external hard drive. And thiis will clear alot of space on computer storage. Running mac OS Mojave 10.24.6. How do i do this safely. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Nice captures of Charlie without his hat. Good musical, but not a very nice man off stage - so I hear.

Have been to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons twice. One of my favorite places to visit. If you stay in West Yellowstone, lots of hotels/inns BUT book early. August/Sept. are prime months In W. Yellowstone go visit Wolf and Grizzley Discover Center for up close photo opts. of these animals which you probably won't see in park. As suggested get up and out early to beat crowds. Tip: If you see cars parked along road that means there are animals near by so park and grab your camera. Plan on lots of driving as the park is huge. Do your research on what you want to see and plan accordingly. Do not miss driving down to Jackson Hole and spending a couple of days there - Moulton Barn, Oxbow Bend and Schwachbacker Landing are must sees - but get there before the sun comes up for best photos and to avoid crowds if possible. At Schwachbacker follow trail back to Beaver Pond - great photo op of mtn. reflections. Drive thru Grand Tetons National Park and Jenny Lake. Tip: If you stop at the Chapel of the Transfiguration in Moose, WY - actually part of GTNP - check out view of Tetons from inside chapel BUT then walk out back and catch mountains reflected in the window behind the altar. While in Jackson go to Persephone Bakery (2 blocks off main square) for best pastries, sit out on deck and enjoy the morning. Didn't mean to go on - but I'm jealous as they are truly a memorable places to visit.
