Ballard , I had always been clicking left on the image file and dragging down for years. Alanna and I went down and it worked for her today on the HP I5"Elite desk". I was finally able to blink through 40 sum images woohooo! Now I must click and drag off of the file "technology" threw me a curve. Thanks Ballard for you input
Ballard, I'm glad to be to at least attempt to get back to the joy of it . I've been having a rough recovery not being a teenager when things would mend much faster. Anyways , I blink and stack with ccdstacks. I haven't used PI since a couple of weeks before the surgery but, I've updated it when I was able to get down to my cave in the basement last week. I've looked the problem online and there's a slew of fixes for win10, win 10 pro which I'm using and win 11 even. It will highlight this post as I'm typing and Alanna can do the same. I'm going downstairs to give it a try but, Alanna told me that her hardwired computer wouldn't do it. I wonder if it was an update that messed the works up ?
I bit the bullet and finally had surgery on my leg on Groundhog day and believe me when I say the surgery was the easy and painless part of it all. I've started to get back at it capturing the night sky but, this darn rain has got to go! I tried to flip through my first couple nights and " I can't get my images to highlight and load into my software programs at all. I've researched it and found a lot of fixes for the win 10 pro which is what I process on but, none seem to work, help? I'm drowning anyone.
Well done, looking forward to more.
Nicely done, I hope the weather will cooperate for me soon.
I really enjoy shooting on these targets, great work Brian.
That's going to be a great image of the 7 sisters Brian. It's another year without snow for us but, the relentless wind and rain 5in of rain every week has everything green and the tree pollen is off the chart. I've got another 5 weeks of post operation healing before I'll even attempt to uncover the Black Widow.
Serena is one of my favs, Timmers the quality and quantity is awesome . the use of several different models is in a sequence like the trio is excellent and in very good taste. Keep on shooting .
Sweet Marc, I had surgery on my leg and I haven't been out for over 90days. Keep it up !
You are off to a good start for testing. Keep up the good work.
Awesome narrowband, really brings out the fluff and detail. I haven't done any processing at all , pain is off the chart. Keep up the good work.
I'm envious , I did attempt 4 nights on Jupiter and failed to even get on my target , I fell into the mount , planetary isn't in my wheelhouse anymore.
That's cool , great start ,love the detail you pulled on the Cal neb .
Good job, the more you shoot on this target the more nebulosity comes out . you've got a good start on the HH nebula. I'm not in very good health, I hope to be capturing some photons on the horsehead this year.
I've been collecting on ic396 , the wind has been pretty bad for the last 3 nights out . I started taking 6 min. Narrowband then dropped down to 3 min. the last 2 nights out. Now it's below freezing and my cave stereo blew a fuse and wires were sizzling in the 3 outlets . $250 later replaced the outlets and put in a oem outlet w/reset. Now I just dropped off my tx/822 ONKYO synthesized Stereo receiver {Brain} to find out why my Headphones work out of the cd deck and not the receiver. Hopefully, I can sleep at night when I get it back , this whole ordeal has me flustered Sonny.
