Great skill to have and offer to prospective customers and or for yourself. As a former Picture Framer, two MAIN golden rules:
1. ALWAYS make sure your cutting blades are sharp with no Knicks
2. Make sure you research mounting sprays/glue/peel-off sticky back mounting board for the correct action...acid free and so forth.
Regardless, it's an incredible skill to have and enjoy the outcome.

"A picture framer is an artist in their own right, they complete the piece of art."

DPS Digital Photography School is a free forum that has an amazing library of information. From what I read on their site I took these. No I so don't claim to be professional by any means, but was delighted how they turned out.

Everyone does this once, some twice! I'm included. I use Lexar cards and they have software downloads just for this job and I would expect the same of SanDisk. MOST IMPORTANTLY, don't do anything else with the card until you run the software, which may take some time. Check the packaging, or the SanDisk site for more information. Nothing will be lost except some time. Best of luck.

Yes, I've also done this and have used the recovery software. As stated above...DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE with the card until you get the recovery software.

Yes, a Sun Dog. I took this pic with my horrible old phone. The green is obviously lens flare but the flare on the right is totally natural and untouched. I was driving and noticed it and turned around and went back to take the pic.
There are also Moon Dogs in the right conditions. I've had the privilege to witness both.
Merry Christmas!

Stringpods work really well. I was unable to bring my tripod with me on a trip to Long Island last year so I made two stringpods. It's just a 1/4"20 eyelet bolt and heavy string. It screws into the tripod socket on the bottom of the camera. You step on the end of the rope and pull up a little to put tension in the rope. The tension stabilizes the camera. You can then just roll it up and put it in your pocket.

Ironic, I was just about to suggest same thing however to make a loop to create a triangle. I used that setup for quite a while. Works great. I found I would let fall straight and step on both like your example or triangular for a little more stability.

Hi, I own the D7100 and there is a button to press on the bottom front left next to lens body. It along with the top right rotating dial below the actuator button will let you choose how many focal/focus points the camera will use. If you use too many your shots will usually be unfocused because the camera can't find a focal point. However that will negate the manual setting. Taking in the camera is a good idea.

Hi All,
It's been a while. My computer crashed and burned and I also lost the what writers call "writers block", mine was "camera block". I have missed everyone. Bought a new computer and it for me is a REALLY good one! Will let me do accurate editing and explore more options as to what I can accomplish. My Sailor son is now a Veteran. He was medically discharged. He was injured in basic and misdiagnosed so didn't heal correctly and got messed up. But, he got married, right at a year ago, will be giving us our first grandchild in Sept, our daughter has found an incredibly great guy and the hubs and I bought our first travle trailer and will start going here and there more often and to coin a phrase ..."Stella got her groove back!"
Bye for now.

Took this a couple of weeks ago from a bouquet my son and DIL gave me at the airport when they came to pick me up for a visit. Hadn't seen him for almost a year. Hope you like it, my first editing with new computer.

I'm Back
