Yes, I know.
But it's not a conversion like he said.
Sure it is. You change the "sensor" :)

Film cameras?
That's pretty easy.

What glass do you have with them? Depending on what you have, there may be more value in the lenses.
There is a vibrant market for manual focus glass now that using these lenses with mirror less cameras is so popular.
That could be anything. Without some details it's hard to help.
Canon Pro 100. Check craigslist. They are always there brand new with paper. Canon runs rebates several times a year and people get the printers free with their cameras. I picked mine up for $100 a couple years ago
I don't think Lightroom can do this, but your printer probably came with software that will handle it.

You're going to want some faster glass than your 70-300. I'd start with a 50 1.8 or 35 1.8 if you're on a tight budget.
It's just a brand to differentiate their lenses. Think Chevy, Buick, Cadillac.
From what I understand, the Art lenses are focused more on fast speeds, image quality, etc. Contemporary are their middle of the road. Sport are focused on weather sealing and rugged construction. Oversimplified, but that's the just of it.
