Not really. A full frame camera will have more detail per photo because it is full frame and not 2/3's frame. It the receiver size inside the camera and not the type of lens. Because the image receiver gets more of the image and not just the size of the image or lens correlation. You get more pixels of resolution per image on a full frame.

Nice shot. I've been using a full frame Canon 5D mkII for awhile now and yes the difference is quite spectacular.

I love the shot and only wish I had such things to shoot here. The only comments I can really make are how I would have shot it. This is a shot I would have used HDR so I could get some foreground lighting control. I don't use HDR much but this would have been the opportunity. Your composition is very nice and I would have also shot in B&W or at least processed it as well as color. Hope I'm not sounding pushy on what I would do. The shot is very nice as it is and I am jealous of your location.

I like the shot overall and like the focus you achieved on the middle bird. My own taste would be to crop from the focused bird back but that's just preference. I think that the shot would also have been good if the ones in the near field were in focus or if you used a higher aperture setting and got all of them in focus. Again these are just possibilities and sometimes when they suddenly appear you don't have time to reset anyway. Nice color and nice shot.

The way the Owl was sitting I would have taken a close up of the owl alone. The lighting would be very good for that. Also if you shot the owl single from a lower position so that your camera is equal in height with the owl. Full body shot have the camera at the same height as it's mid section. Head shot have the camera height just below the head. I have even laid on the ground so I could be at the same height when shooting wildlife and I'm getting a little old for getting back up. Just a thought. It's actually a decent shot but you may have been able to compose the image differently depending on what the background is. On a close up shot also make sure and focus on the eye or eyes of the owl. I don't know what equipment you have but setting it up so you can have a blurred background would also add to it. My thoughts anyway.

Good job! Looks like they all were having a great time. Hope you got your turn.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm a very lucky man having 17 and growing grandchildren. They are so much fun to photograph and spend time with.
I did have my time with them in the pool and they wore me out. Thank you for your comments.

A lot of fun, especially #3!

They were trying something and do it together but they messed it up which gave me this great shot. It's my favorite as well. To be young and having so much fun.

Great stop-action set.

Thanks. I'm using a 5DMKII and though I tried using the multi shot mode it was better at just one shot. I get a lot of practice with this bunch.

Finally getting the shots in focus. Grandkids at this age are great for action shots just difficult to get them to sit still.
