Have you tried using a powered USB hub? The standard ones are just extensions and can lack power and speed

There is something about it - maybe try a BW conversion with plenty of contrast and some grain?

Please explain how LR organiser is confusing.

Seems to be very simple for anyone to understand - just an explorer window

Probably best to stick with the S3 and get a couple of apps for it. You know it will always be with you

For editing, I would go with Lightroom 5 to start, and then get Elements 11 if you find you really need it.

I used to use CS2 all the time, but now just use Lightroom with an occasional venture into Elements when I want something more technical, like stitching

Apparently the 3.5 is not as sharp

If you have Lightroom 5, then you can correct the distortion using this.

I use it on my D7000 and love it!

Probably my fav lens

hi dal

just ordered the Nikon 35mm G lense, I had the 50mm lense on my canon which was really sharp, so I am hoping
that this 35mm will be as good

Amazing! I'd be afraid to download from a site like that for fear of prosecution and viruses. I've heard of some hefty fines levied on individuals. Does Pirate Bay give tech support? :D

LOL :-D

I have used these types of sites on and off for more than 15 years and only once got a virus due to my own stupidity. Once you have had to tear down your whole machine and rebuild it, together with losing a big chunk of data, more care is taken.....

They are nice to use on a trial basis though - download, try the software, then buy it if it is any good

Interesting. I thought the Pirate Bay was shut down.

The author of the article said at the end that Adobe now has a 99 day grace period for people who will be away from Internet access. I'm sure it will take them a while to get the kinks ironed out, but I wonder how they will counteract the piracy.

Pirate Bay will never be shut down until the Internet is switched off

UK ISPs have now banned it along with several other sites - workarounds up and running within an hour!

Most of it depends on what you are shooting and your budget. I prefer either the Nikon 35mm or the Sigma 10-20mm
