I know, I thought humming birds were tough but these babies are a real challenge.
The hoover bees have started flying again here in Alabama. I hope to get a few good photos of them this year. Not an easy task for me. This one was caught in the middle of the day using my Tamron 180mm lens.

Thank you for the information I can't pronounce it but I'll work at it. It is an amazing flower. I had know idea of what it really looked like until I got it under my Tamron 180 mm macro lens.

This is a 1:1 Macro shot of a flower found in my front yard that looks like something from another world. I love the colors but it looks like it's getting ready to eat something.

The wind was really blowing and the wasp was holding on with everything he/she had. I was amazed I could get a shot at all. Tried to shoot between gust but it was great practice to get a quick focus.
