Nice summer day, drove to Prescott and found these young musicians performing in front of the court house. Great to see these kids doing something a bit different.

Great photo, and I'll bet the music was brilliant! Thanks for sharing that one.

If you leave the group. those of us who appreciate new and interesting images will be deprived of seeing your highly skilled work. Could you not ignore any derogatory remarks? We live in the country and don't get to see top class photography. Your images were a breath of fresh air.

I know I shot a lot of photos in this place And posted some. But here are some more. Back in the day most all of the machines were powered by a steam engine driving a shaft that ran through the top of the building. And the machines were belt driven from that shaft. Some times that belt would break and men would be hurt or even killed.

Thanks for sharing those - a very interesting subject.

Here are a selection of photographs taken in a village near where I live.
I have attempted to include what can be seen in most small villages in England, The Pub, The Church, a Church, small stream and a bridge.
It was a dull cloudy day so some colours were muted, I have only attached one "store original" so the location can be viewed of the set.
I hope you enjoy them.

Beautiful! Brings back memories, although I don't remember seeing all of the flower boxes (definitely an enhancement :-) ) from when I was there.

Sunday at a local park, I heard the keening cry of a bird of prey. After walking around the same 4-5 trees for 15 minutes, this landed in front of me capturing a lizard for a snack. Then he flew into a tree and continued his call. He sat there long enough for these photos. Hope you enjoy. I believe it is a young Red-Tail.

How fortunate you were to be in the right place at the right time (with a camera :-) ) Beautiful shots.

I walked out of the village this morning to watch the farmer cutting the crop, collecting the grain and making the bales. All the vehicles were moving, a bit of camera shake on the head on shot I was wondering when to move!!

Are there any HHogers living in Scotland who are likely to be attending the World Pipe Band Championships on the 12th and 13th August?

We'd appreciate a photo or two if convenient.

It's been a while since I've posted, as work has kept me busy.

This hare came and stopped close by me late yesterday evening when I was out with the camera looking for deer.

I thought black and white made for a more powerful image.

An amazing shot! Those ears!!! :-) :-)
