Going the e-mail rounds.

Seat in church

A few minutes before the church services started, the congregation was sitting in their pews and talking.

Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the church.

Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate.

Soon the church was empty except for one elderly cowboy who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence..

So Satan walked up to the man and said, 'Do you know who I am?'

The old cowboy replied, 'Yep, sure do.'

'Aren't you afraid of me?' Satan asked.

'Nope, sure ain't.' said the cowboy.

'Don't you realize I can kill you with one word?' asked Satan.

'Don't doubt it for a minute,' returned the old man, in an even tone.

'Did you know that I can cause you profound, horrifying AGONY for all eternity?' persisted Satan.

'Yep,' was the calm reply.

'And you are still not afraid?' asked Satan.

'Nope,' said the old cowboy.

More than a little perturbed, Satan asked, 'Why aren't you afraid of me?'

The old cowboy calmly replied,

'Been married to your sister for 48 years.

Wow, despite what you say, it seems you're very impressed with Putin. Funny comparison except Putin is far from someone I would use as a standard.

Hi there!
I'm from Romania, a country dragged in the Middle Ages by the russians for 50 years, so yes, I "love" putin! He's my row model when it comes to ... dictators.

When it comes to leaders, USA seems to have some issues.

As for my country, we have all the issues and more!

Just because I love you when you argue (left vs right), take this.
And no, I don't love russians (for the ones of you old enough, you know what I mean)!

Sorry, nobody said you'll have issues indoors or in a cloudy day!
But in this case, why use a cpl filter?
Please take a uw lens and try some wide landscape with the sun above you. Check the sky gradient and than we can talk ...

Since I plan to use it for mostly landscape shots I'm thinking I need a polarizer filter. Booklet says it takes 77MM sized filters. I'm concerned about viginetting with a filter on this wide lens. Is it a problem and with the hood do I still need one? I have an assortment of filters but of course none are 77MM.

Dear zizane,
A cpl filter on an ultra wide lens is a complete waste of ... money. As your fellows might tell you, that works at a 90 degrees angle relatively to the sun. So, please do your homework first.
To make it simpler, just check the angle on your lens (might be close to 180 degrees), than you'll realize why the clp filter is useless at 11 mm.
And enjoy your new toy!

Sorry, no idea who's Barry (don't care), but to respect the history, Hitler has nothing to do with your hero.
Hitler made the germans really proud - before starting the WW - by economic growth. The rest of his era is shear stupidity but, as you noticed, this disease has an equal spread all over.

Some people around here don't see the big picture. When you're shooting at F16, diffraction takes over ... and you start guessing about the details, forgetting the story behind the picture.
The post wasn't about politics, at least not the one you practice every 4 years.
My 7 year kid still believes in Santa! I don't. And I don't believe in politicians, left or right wing. You'll finally realize it's only about them, never about you!

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — A few weeks after moving to suburban Kansas City from the Seattle area, Aaron Belenky went online to register to vote. But he ended up joining thousands of other Kansas residents whose voting rights are in legal limbo because of the state's new proof-of-citizenship rule.

Sorry, but I don't see the connection here! Keeping a thousand hostile voters off is small change compared to the place/scale where decisions are made.
Since 1996 I gave up voting for two reasons: first, all politicians are as they are; and second, a new politician will become a politician.
In my country it's called corruption, in yours it's called lobby.

The cartoon is so replete with historical error that it is difficult to know where to begin. But let me just ask, why have we had low inflation, some would say deflation, for the last five years while the Federal Reserve has pumped billions of dollars into the economy? We are not in a "great depression" rather than the "great recession" we are in because the Federal Reserve knew how to deal with the issue. A national government's economy is not like a family's or a state government because it is the only entity that does print the money. Foreign governments, businesses and individuals (as well as Americans) continue to buy US Treasury b onds because they have faith in this government's stability, even in bad economic times.

One issue here bothers me, The Federal Reserve. It's private (!!!) and it has "links" with major bankers (or better the ones above bankers) across the globe. So maybe we should avoid using phrases like "faith in this government's stability".
I think about US as the biggest market (still), so does China. It's not about faith, but money, power, whatever.
And btw, faith is a term familiar around churches or election campaigns.
I'm not in the conspiracy paranoia gang, and hope you're not a banker.
Cheers!

Sorry for wasting your time; the video still got a title. In case you haven't noticed, it's "The Collapse of The American Dream Explained in Animation".
Any other complaints?
Have a good one!
