What I’ve done successfully is to to shoot many exposures of the same shot (on a tripod) layer them them on one base shot and paint the blank areas in as the people move from where they were standing. You have to keep track of the spaces voided by people as you shoot each exposure. It’s worked well in the past.
I don’t understand all of this mail tracking BS. I’m 70 years old and in that time have not seen any problems with my mail. Late checks are the IRS not the mail. This is another case of the minority bellyaching about a non existent problem.
P means that it will ALWAYS select the fastest shutter speed allowed by the lighting situation and adjust the aperture to match.
All my years I grew up thinking doodlebugs and rolypolies were the same bug. I now see I was wrong. The rolypolie looks far more benign than the doodle bug.
Perhaps I’m missing the problem. If the shutter works find the Bulb setting by shooting around the dial. Once you establish that position move it one position at a time and mark the dial for each speed.
Anyone seeing this and thinking it is real should not be allowed to vote. This is so obviously phony it pains me to believe it was posted. Notice the type is square next to the top and bottom of the photo. If it was real the type would be keystoning the same as the photo. Also notice the crispness of the type in comparison to the actual photo. This is a poor photoshop job by some ingrate that has a beef with the hotel. I also feel badly for and toward the person that would post this if it’s not the jerk that made the original image.
That’s again great for that individual. Lump them as a group and start making derogatory jokes about them at their expense and see how they feel about it. The “jokes” that were made weren’t all bad but enough of them were to take the humor out of the entire group. Some of them were incendiary putting the police as a group as being racist. There are probably some bad apples but as an organization I think they are responsible and treat the public as a whole with respect and professionalism.
A roast is about a single person. The person is also part of the gag. Disrespect of this type is tarnishing a defenseless group that is undeserving of such. The donut jokes, ok old but not necessarily derogatory. Many of the others were just in poor taste. Why not make jokes about all cancer victims or poor people. How about making these same type jokes about all black people. How well would that be received. Making light of serious issues that no group can defend against is prejudice not humor.
I have enjoyed Graham’s humor in the past. Today, 1-8-2019, I was very disappointed with his jokes. I’m not a policeman but I respect them. This was a poor use of space. The humor was inflammatory. I expected humor based on past posts. I wish Grahm would offer an apology for this post. The majority of police are out to “serve and protect” not what this humor implies. Name a profession you won’t find some bad apples. These officers put their lives on the line to help us a respect is due to them.
Thank you. Speed is important. Tethered seems to still be the best method despite the ever present tripping, and equip damage liability.
Thank you for the info. I'll call the guys at Capture Integration Monday. I appreciate your time and wish you good shooting.
I never use the Canon software. I use Capture One Pro 9. Any experience with that?
I use a Canon5DSr. Has anyone used the Canon WI-FI card for viewing to a computer or transferring images to a computer. If it worked I would love to cut the USB cable that I use to shoot tethered. I'm a commercial photographer and shoo most things directly to computer for the A/D or Client. Cables are a pain in the a..! I'd love to pick the brain of Anyone with experience.
Sir, the lighting isn't too contrasty. Tools of this sort show better with a contrastier light. I'm a working professional of 35+ years. In digital today it is easier to eliminate the hot light on the wooden base. Shoot the subject as a double exposure. Drop a large Card behind the subject to reduce the highlight. Sometimes black or gray works well depending on how much you want to reduce the highlight. You could also use brown if you have some no seam laying around. It would work well with the existing wood. Shoot a second time without the Card in the background for the clean white your looking for. In photoshop lay the white image over the first image and paint in the offending highlight on the wood. I also recommend using the perspective tool to make the sides vertical. The image does look a little soft. Good luck.
