Perhaps in the wisdom of your old age you will also consider Counts against Trump do not necessarily equate to convictions against him. Take a good look at the supposed charges against him by a political party who will do anything to make sure Trump does not run for election again. Many law professors are examining those charges and wondering where they come from since they are not really illegal. His Stormy Daniels case seems to be falling apart as a few Left Wing law professors are actually wondering what law Trump is being charged with violating. There is talk of the evidence never reaching the jury since the judge might say the evidence has proven no crime violated.

Take a good look at the case presented in Georgia by Fani Willis. There is a good bit of conjecture she might be on trial soon because of her misuse of government funds while trying to GET Trump. Again, there seems to be no law violated.

Your comments make sense regarding the state cases. The Federal charges are, however, are pretty compelling and more dangerous for Trump. The case in Florida is just about a slam/dunk against Trump but it appears it won't get under way until after the election........which is what Trump most-definitely wants. If he wins the election, he can make it go away. Regarding the New York case, most of the pundits are saying the prosecutors will get a guilty verdict but then, a possibility of winning something good on appeal. I'll tell you something, Trump is worried. His lawyers have to tell Trump, when the jury is out, to "hope for the best and be prepared for the worse". "If the jury comes back with guilty, we always have decent shot at reversal on appeal". Anything else would be tantamount to legal malpractice. Yes, Trump is worried. You NEVER can trust what a jury will do. The ex-Harvard law professor, who appears to be pro-Trump, says guilty verdict in New York but to be later won on appeal. The beat goes on.

America is very divided today. I am an old guy and remember "back in the day", the Dems & Rs were mostly moderate, i.e. not too much of "major" differences. Today, not so much. That's why I'm an Independent. I way I see it, we have to vote for one of the two. Both are old, granted. So am I. Both are subject to lots of gaffs. Joe used to be a stutterer but not now and will never be a great speaker but let's look at his record; methinks the historians will be kind to him. The other, say or think what you may, but he has 91 felony counts against him. Yes, who cares that he regularly cheats on his wife. Personally, I don't care. He once remarked something like: "Gee, I am really lucky. I have a beautiful wife and a beautiful mistress". Like I said, who cares. But, really, 91 felony counts against him and you'd still consider voting for him? Wow. OK, let's go further. If you plan to vote for Trump, are you really OK with him trying to overthrow the vote? Overthrow democracy? I tell a lot of my hard-Republican friends..........you have (or had) other choices. Most of them agree. Lots of them will always be Republicans but will not vote for Trump. I'm not trying to be a flame thrower here...........just getting some stuff out there. Whatever you do, whomever you will vote for, however, do vote. It's an important part of our freedom. If Trump wins, as one foreign government once said, then we deserve him. Also, we'll get through it.

I didn't make an OP.

But my statement was quite clear. There isn't now, and hasn't been, "liberty and justice for all".

Unfortunately, quite true. The framers of the constitution had to leave "racial injustice" for another time (which, actually, was about 100 years later......Civil War) because if slavery were "part of the deal", they couldn't get the Southern States to go along with the Declaration of Independence. Also, unfortunately, the Civil War did not solve the racial problem either.

Wow; you stopped action perfectly with the 1/400 shutter speed and the photos are really crisp. Thanks for the settings info because I was so impressed with the quality of the photos, I would have asked for settings info if you had not provided them. Again, wow!

We moved into our new house 2 1/2 years ago and I decided not to hook up the DVD player. Guess what? I never wished I had and yes, I also have a bunch of DVDs. Purchased new Dell desktop computer about 2 years ago that DID come with optical drive. Guess what, have never used it. The new age has arrived :)

Michael Avenatti, back in the day said of Michael Cohen ... "Trump has trusted everything that can sink him to a moron!"

And, to make matters worse, Trump refused to pardon Cohen. Yikes, what a mistake for Trump!!

The defense made it more awful than it needed to be.

Again, you are correct. The female Trump lawyer started beating up on Daniels (who held her own) which juries do not like. My guess is that Trump told his lawyer she had to do it, i.e. let Daniels get a full blast. Again, not a good idea or show in front of a jury.

Wow, really nice. I'm trying to figure out whether I should pair my Z8 with this great lens you just used or go for the Nikkor 100-400mm which is now $2500. Your lens is $1700, gets 200mm more range, and getting really great reviews. Only negative, primarily, is that it (180-600) is somewhat heavier than the 100-400. Once again, beautiful and sharp picture. Congrats!

Trump lawyers wouldn't stipulate to any evidence so it all has to come in via testimony. Defense then gets to cross examine all testimony but screwed up royally in their cross of Daniels. Daniels was necessary because it was the start of the legal snowball, but only some details were allowed by the judge. Both prosecution and defense crossed the judge's orders. Trump would have to stipulate that the sex happened for Daniels not to be called.

Triple G is correct. Since Trump would not stipulate that he had sex with Daniels, the prosecution then had to call her to prove. Huge mistake on Trump's part. Firstly, stipulating he had sex with her would not hurt him. The maga people look at that as a badge of honor. However, if T did stipulate, then it's possible the prosecution would not have had to put Stormy on the stand or at least, for a very short time. Daniels testimony surely did not help Trump.

The prosecution's decision to put her on the stand was an incredible tactical error especially after under cross she admitted to hating the president and having no intention of honoring her 500,000 debt to him. If convicted Trump will have grounds for a new trial.

From what I read, the prosecutors had no choice since Trump refused to stipulate to the affair. Most of pundits think Stormy did a decent job.

Nope, not confused whatsoever. Atheism is an irrational position to hold. You are wrong about scientists but that wasn’t even part of the argument.

You are doing a lot of protesting and, of course, offering no proof (e.g. "wrong about the scientists"). Here is the bottom line: It is OK for you to believe. I repeat, it is OK. Go forward, spread the word, enjoy life, and lose the anger. Lots of others have same belief-system as you do and are not angry and don't look back.

You are confused and have it reversed. Not being an Atheist is the irrational position to hold according to the scientists. Nothing wrong with being a believer in something that has no scientific proof behind it as long as you realize it. I read somewhere that scientists are the largest group of non-believers; for good reason. I've talked to scientists who do believe in religion but even they agree there is no science behind their belief in God. As science has advanced over the years, belief in religion has waned. For example, as science explained how, scientifically, earthquakes and hurricanes occur, then the belief that the angry God or gods caused the event.......diminished. I read an interesting fact not too long ago that Christianity has decreased in all continents except one........last few decades. Can you guess the exception? Africa. No explanation but I'm guessing Africa has so many problems that they need religion to help them cope.

Science does NOT support a belief in God. Pure and simple. If you chose to believe, no problem......go to it.
