Thanks, Sherry... no flowers, we need to improvise!
Glad you enjoyed!

FYI: spent the weekend listening to David curse as we dug up the invading wisteria!! OMG... those roots are killers!

I read your and Corky's rants about Wisteria. Corky had me fully convinced to stay away, far, far away from Wisteria. Then he threw in that bit about American Wisteria. Sigh. I have a long history of only learning from my own mistakes and even then I often have to repeat the mistakes before learning. Oh, dear. I feel a potential mistake coming on. How many years before you regretted the wisteria? Maybe I won't live that long. Something to leave for my heirs to remember me by.

Thank you so much for the lovely compliment, Sherry. Your work is always beautiful and a pleasure to view. You've gotta go to the bog, but I'm not sure you'd see anything much right now. I've never been in winter, but I wouldn't think that anything would be in bloom. Hmmm... a thought though..sometimes the dried grasses and seed heads are as pretty as the fresh blooms, and with the sun at just the right angle! I've just talked myself into going!
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment, Sherr... (show quote)

Just do it! Looking forward to your results.

Beautiful shots of some beautiful women, Ron.
Must have been a tough job - but I guess somebody's gotta do it.

So very beautiful, Donna! (I've got to find my way back to the bog - not that I think I'd have results anything like yours.)
The first is my favorite - simply mesmerizing.

At last, I got shoot a butterfly this morning !
There were about 3 or 4. While it was sunny and in upper 70's but with wind gusts around 30 mph
it was not a good day for photography.

Hope you like the shots I managed.

All shots with Nikon D7000 with Tamron 70-300

Beautiful shots of your butters, sundar. I especially like the stained glass look of #3.

The majority of the photos posted are from the backyard this afternoon and one from Yates Mill Pond. The first two photos are from Yates Mill Pond and was taken with my Canon 80D and Canon 70-300mm hand held. The balance of the photos were taken with the Canon 80D and the Tamron 150-600mm lens using the tripod with no remote. ALL C&C is welcome. Details and captions will be with the photos. Thanks for taking the time to look at these photos and if you leave a comment I understand the time involved.

Greg, beautiful shots of the fall color, the birdies (especially loved the chickadees), and you even made the squirrel look cute!

Not as sharp as I like but this is a grab shot, the Jay in the foreground was on the feeder and I saw the other one fly from the tree and I knew something was going to happen. REJ.

Great capture, REJ! Always love the action shots.

More from our annual car show. Downloading is a must.

Great shots, Earl!

Evoking memories: Those fins! Fins were definitely IN in 1959! I learned to drive (and parallel park) in a 1959 Dodge. Not a shiny red and white convertible, but a black and white 4-door tank. You could pack a LOT of friends in that thing! God willing, I will never again have to parallel park.

Thanks for the memories.

Right now it's a toss up between Luminar 2018 and Topaz Studio as far as presets go, they are so different one can't really compare but will have to give Topaz the edge, I think Luminar is winning as far as processing from a RAW image or JPG out of the camera, Freaking Awesome adjustments from Luminar 2018, more than any program on the market today.

So here we go. again shot on a overcast day. wit a Sony a7rII and Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 lens using Sony's in camera 2X digital zoom, that would be like having a 170mm lens.

Please enjoy the downloads if you wish and Thanks for Looking!!!

This is the first time I have seen one of these. I ID'd it with the help of Google. According to Google, it is a Resin Bee (in the Megachile family) & is commonly called an Aussie Bee. It is harmless & does not swarm. It builds its 'nests' in holes/hollows in timber or dead trees. It is about the same size as a common honey bee. Downloading is recommended.

Beautiful shots, Earl!
