That's awesome jim....I really miss that area....also used to drive up to Picture Rocks , nice area too....around here there are many places to drive to, but really miss the real mountains..We have streams nearby but are poluted with mine watter....and another stream 5 minutes away; has fish but would not eat them, too much polution from farm fields that have been highly fertilized. ( water is milky grey most of the time.

Hi Charles, Thanks for the great information, I have been making a list from what all of you nice folks have been good enough to share with me; it will be benificial in planning my weekend trip as soon as the leaves start to pop etc....by the looks of all the support I will have to make that trip two or three times and that is good, gives me plenty of time with the camera and i won't need to push my self as i am a bit handycaped, too many hours driving can put me down even though most of the areas are within 3 to 4 hours from where I live...Please keep in touch...hope to be posting photos soon, I am a real amature and can take good constructive advice.

Thanks everyone for the generous friendship you all display, really too many to nice people to post back to right now...hopefully I will catch up to everyone of you soon....I need to figure out now just how to post a photo and not get it too large that it would spill out all over the edges of the computer screen....don't you just hate that???
